What's Your "One Word" For 2015?
Hi folks. I recently read on a blog I follow this challenge: pick one word that will be the word you live by in 2015. This word will be your over-arching theme for the year and will both define and drive who you are and what you want to accomplish. Whether it's related to your personal or business life, or both, this word will motivate and inspire you to improve and make positive choices throughout the year.
My word: COURAGE
- To do what I know to be right
- To show those close to me that I care
- To change bad habits
- To make healthy choices
- To write passionately about those things that are important to me
- To honor and live by what I believe in
What will your word be for 2015? If you would like to share it please do so. But even if you don't, I encourage you to take the time and choose a word that will define you for the next year. Sound easy enough? It may not be. But it's worth the time to do.

I will take action and move towards my goals instead of just thinking and about them....
A thought without "Action" is just a dream"
Fortunately I have learned to write down my thoughts and ideas as they come to me; but unfortunately that's as far as it goes, I never act on them....In 2015 I will take that little black book of ideas and turn my dreams into reality. Now I know not all of my ideas are doable, in fact some of them might be down right crazy but it's the crazy-ideas that change the world.....
The Wright Brothers had the crazy idea that man could fly!! Imagine that.....

My word is NEW. I am anticipating the passing away of a lot of "old" (and undesirable) situations in my life and the birthing of new (and much desired) ones.
Wow, very good inspirational blog. Thx for this. I thought about it right now. First I had DISCIPLINE, but then I realized, that there is a negative connotation in the word to me.
My word for 2015 (and maybe the rest of my life): FREEDOM
o) To do whatever I want
o) To reach out to people that are good for me
o) To find true love
o) To buy whatever I want & need
o) To make a living from my online efforts
o) To be who I want to be without the need of worrying

Rick, I could copy and paste your list under my word, and it would still work.
If it was 2 words, it would be TIME MACHINE, because in 2015 I'm going back in time, about 30 years. I invite everyone to join me.
Send me my ticket and I shall travel with you. I've done a lot of thinking this past year about my youthful dreams and plans. And I've discovered that many are still reachable. Have a great 2015.
Rick, the ticket is yours. Here's what I'm thinking so you don't think I'm drunk already. (It's good you caught me early)
My plan this year is to get my weight lower than when I running 5K races back in the 1980's. My goal is to beat my best time for a 5K. If I can do that by June, I'm flying to Wyoming where I plan to race and beat a Mini Triathlete. I'm spotting him 30 years, but he's spotting me 50 pounds, and he Smokes! I like me by a whole bunch.
That's awesome. From what I'm learning about you I would not bet against you. Now go have that drink :)
