One Year With WA - Has It Been Worth It?
Yes! And to prove it, I bought my 2014 annual membership through the Black Friday special. Year 2 is locked in and paid for and I'm scheduling my calendar so I have a clear direction of where I want to go and how I plan to get there.
I'm one of those who landed here after being scammed online (I have a particular bias against EN). Fortunately, one of the WA members did a great review and I followed their link here. And on December 27, 2012 yours truly became a Starter Member with Wealthy Affiliate (Premium about a month later).
So what have I learned?
- The training is thorough and always up-to-date
- The community spirit and support is incredible
- The focus is on building a quality, long-term online business
- And the difference between a widget and a menu
Anything else? Oh, right, Kyle and Carson are pretty cool. This is my personal thank you for having the determination to offer a bona fide alternative to the "bright and shiny object" syndrome. A new member, mabry101, said it so well in a recent post that this website was unlike any other that she had seen. And that sums up why I joined...why I'm still here...and why I will be here in the future.
To those that have helped and supported me...thank you. And hopefully I have been able to "pay it forward" with other members in turn.

Right on. I have always enjoyed your posts and comments. You are definitely an asset to the community. Thank you.
Happy Anniversary - always good to hear how well WA is working for many of the members, including me!
Sounds like congrats are in order for you, too. It is working for many of us because of the focus on learning first, giving us the tools. It's now up to us to use them. Thanks.
Thank you Vitaliy. You have been an inspiration to me and a great supporter. I hope that I have returned the favor.
Yes. I've put a lot of time and work into my Boot Camp site and it's truly become a labor of love. I'm always looking for ways to tweak it and make it a better user experience. That has become my number one focus and I'm doing it by always trying to improve my content and make it easy to navigate. All the best to you here.
Hi Rick,
You are not alone in your EN feeling, I can identify. I was led to Wealthy Affiliate after almost getting into a mess with EN.
I am glad to know you, and wish you the best year ever! Happy Anniversary. :)
Thank you and I'm glad you found your way here as well. I've yet to see an EN post that I don't like to add my two cents on.
Though I haven't been here as long as you have I know that when it is my 1 year anniversary in August of 2014 I will be saying the same thing as you...just in my own style. I wouldn't want to plagiarize. :)
And you will say it well. I look forward to reading it. You're doing awesome work here. Thank you.
Yes, you said exactly what I was thinking about. The difference between WA and all other products on the internet is so huge that I even have nothing to add to your words. Thank you for your great post. Wish you the best!
Thank you. I think many of us feel home when we are here and I know the training works. All the best to you as well.
I remember that, Tommy. You have done very well here and have become a leader in the community. Thank you.

LoL - If I had been asked - I would have thought you had been here much longer than a year (and that's a compliment!) Glad you have found it such a positive experience. Wishing you every success for 2014.
Thank you, Beverley. You have been such a help and I have all of your info graphics printed out and by my computer. All the best to you as well.
