An Interview with Napoleon Hill

I was trawling through some quotes and stuff on the net when I came across a site called Soundcloud that I've never heard of before.

It's full of audio as the name would imply but among it's hidden gems was a radio program from way back when where Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich) is interviewed about the Three Causes of Failure. I thought it was brilliant being able to listen to the words of the man himself so I thought I would share.

Anyway, here's the link -

https://soundcloud.com/gregsreid/the-napoleon-hill-foundation-1 - and I hope you find it helpful.

Richard.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link! I have the pdf that was available from an free ebook! Thanks for the audio

Yvw. I Think I need to go hunting for some of these free ebooks :)

Hey Richard, I read his first book long ago enough not to remember much about it besides it having a profound effect at the time. Cheers for the link, off for a listen. Regards.

He certainly wrote in a motivational way and he was just as motivational in the interview.

Many thanks for the link! I have just listened to the interview - had never listened to Napoleon Hill. Will start reading his work again too.

Maybe we should have a recommended reading section - I also remember reading something by Og Mandino, although I can't remember the title. A lot of these must be available as eBooks I would have thought.

I remember the Og Mandino title now - The Greatest Salesman in the World.

Thanks Richcrow, I haven't listened to Napolean Hill since I was a teenager. He was an escape for me...kept me out of a lot of trouble, LOL! He is a classic!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening - I even reached for my notebook just like in the old days...!

An oldie but a goodie -- there are many old gems that I like to revisit -- could spend days I think if I let myself drift..

There are a few recordings of him there that I noticed. I've scheduled another listen tomorrow and time for a better look around the site for some more gems. :)

Thanks so much Rich! I first read it back in '95 - incredible!

Ken

I first discovered him when 'Think and Grow Rich' was an Amway book of the month back in the 80's! Am I showing my age there??? lol
