Why Do People Ask You To Copy And Paste Facebook Posts Rather Than Just Share Them

Hi Folks

I've often wondered that myself but have usually done it without question.

Had I asked why, the chances are that the person I copied and pasted it from didn't know the answer any more than me, and that they'd just done it on autopilot as well.

I saw and read this very informative article today which I thought I'd share with you all.

Maybe just stick to Sharing in future, methinks.....

Cheers

Rich :-)

WOW..Rich now I see how sometimes by falling for certain requests on FB. I have had my own issues with my computer functioning properly...thanks for sharing...

You're not the only one lol! :-)

This is great information, I appreciate this read. Thanks Rich

You're welcome :-)

WoW, what a eye opener, Thanks for sharing.

It was an eye opener for me too :-)

I'm with you on this one. No point in cutting and pasting when the option is there to share.

I agree and I'll be doing that from now on too :-)

Thanks for sharing that. I always thought there had to be something to it, just didn't know what!

Blessings,
Debby

I never knew what the reason was until I saw this and I'll bet very of the people who post it do either :-)

Almost all articles in Facebook have share buttons. We need not copy and paste.

That's what I'll be doing from now on, for sure.

That was a really interesting article Rich, thank you for sharing it with us, there is always so much more if we scratch the surface.

It was certainly an eye-opener!

Very interesting, especially Reason 1! Usually, I don't copy and paste only because someone wants me to do that :D But now I know why...
Thanks, Gerlinde

I won't be doing it any more!

Thanks for sharing this information. Debbie

You're welcome :-)

So true, isn't it something how many things we do on "autopilot" without thinking why?

I know - I'm just as guilty as the next person of doing it.
Rich
