If you're going simply duplicate your content then you're risking being penalized by Google. A duplicate content they are cracking on. If you can re-write your content then it's probably OK, But try to make it look authentic.

I don't think that's a good idea. If it was your page and post within your same website, then it would be ok.

are you keeping both sites or are you getting a new one to replace the old one these are questions that will make a difference if you are keeping both sites then I would say change the wording so you will not be considered duplicate content and if you are changing over to a news site to replace the old one then you can all the best max

What do you mean exactly? Are you looking to duplicate some content onto a new site from your existing site?

If this is the case i would say no ... duplicate material is a big no no in all honesty...
