Passive Income At Last! Wealthy Affiliate Works - Here Is Proof
I don't like the word passive when it comes to making money because everything requires hard work and sustained effort over time. But what can I say. I built this website in January and the last time I posted on it was March.
I am celebrating today! I checked my Amazon Associates account and voila, six items shipped and a whopping $25 commission.
I earned this money without actively selling something or performing a service, so call it what I may, it is passive.
This happened 10 days after I received the dreaded Amazon email reminding me that my account will be closed if I have not reached the required qualifying purchases within 180 days.

There you have it my first real success post after being here for less than six months.
I'm off to dusting off my neglected website.

I followed OEC training, the traffic was organic, I have about six real posts, I have one top list post and some single review posts.
I only chose keywords that have really low competition, so it was easier for me to rank for them.

I agree. Nothing in the world is truly passive. There is always an initial push and once you push, even if it's years ago, that makes it "not" passive by definition.
