WA emphasizes affiliate marketing through a website or a blog. But there are internet marketers who claim affiliate marketing is done more efficiently through email marketing.

There are too many variables to do a comparable study, but both can be quite effective. I wouldn't recommend buying a list until you know if your site converts. If you are direct linking back to the merchant, make sure the merchant's site converts well. My best recommendation is to build up a list from your site, then email that group regularly and always include at least one offer in each email.

Surely both, your website is one way of gaining traffic to build your email list while emails on the other hand - via your autoresponder - help distribute your website content to your audience.

They should work in tandem and compliment each other, don’t see them as a choice, one or other, since this will be to your detriment.

In other words, they are both tools, part of a wide range of available armoury, is how I see them.

Hope this helps!

Hey Jimmy,

There are lots of training and blogging tips on email marketing offer here at WA. See screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks.

Great resources - thanks!

Welcome back Jimmy this time it may well be your final stopover.

It can be kind of like the chicken and the egg story, at the end of the day we all need traffic, one of the best ways to grow this organically is to create a website, the next thing is getting that traffic to sign on to your email list and the next thing is to offer your list some value and then they may reward you by clicking on one of your offers.

There is a saying we can get as much traffic as we want if we have deep pockets and know how to put the right offer in front of the right audience.

So website, + a list + the right offer = happiness.

I agree with Marion.

Thanks, Alex.

You'll probably find that those internet marketers who have success through email also have a website. You'll want to have both.

Thanks. Marion.

What remedial thing can be done with an article that has not been indexed by Google after a reasonable length of time -- this in spite of the fact that you followed the WA guid

thanks so much for asking this question! I've now found that pretty much none of my posts are being indexed! WA has been sending me 'congratulations' that they are indexed, but google console says they're not. I'm not sure why I'm being told that they are by WA.

Yeah, this is baffling.

Even if they aren't ranked by Google, they can still be valuable to your audience. Keep them on the site as reference. You can always tweak them to see if Google gets moving on them.

Being indexed is different from being ranked. If your article is not indexed, then as far as Google is concerned, you are not visible at all. How can you talk about ranking vis-a-vis the competitors when you are not even found in the search engine?

Your articles should be linked or available somehow on the site. That improves the user experience for the site. There's more to site success than just indexing. Those articles can still be found on your site.

I thought that articles will definitely be indexed by Google but perhaps not come up in rankings... Hmmm.. Maybe mine are not being indexed either then.

Watch Jay Training If my post not indexed, i try to fetch it again every alternative day.

Thanks.

What are you considering a reasonable amount of time, and have you considered rewriting the post a little or adding keywords to the meta tag in SEO, these things can help get a post indexed that has been sitting for a little bit of time. I did this with a couple of mine that had not been indexed in like 2 weeks :)

Thanks. I'm doing that precisely and that's why I'm also asking for any additional strategy. Thanks for the reply.

Are you talking about "Indexing" or "Ranking"?

Kindly read my question. Thanks.

I did read your question and using low competition keywords, not having too many affiliate links, and internal linking with other pages/posts has nothing to do with indexing

Oh I see. Thanks. I thought the strategy is the same for indexing and ranking.

Anyway, what do you do when an article remains not indexed for say 3 months?

Have you done a :site search? Using an incognito page type :site yoururl and see what Google has listed for you?

I sent myself a test email to see if our customized email address really works. Couldn't find anything that indicates my test message has been received. Where is it?

As James says do that and it works I have mine set up that way

You need to go to your WA email dashboard, and set up your email forwarding from your site's email to your normal email account.

Nice one James

Cheers, Dave. I think this option is brilliant :)

It's awesome and I give that email to clients as it shows professionalism as well

It certainly does. It always beats a hotmail, a Yahoo, or any other email address.

Absolutely

You check it at your webmail for support@yoursite etc. Did you have that email set up like it said in the training

I'm just wondering if it is a good practice to show our WA websites to our friends and acquaintances. Are there pros and cons on this?

I show mine to friends and family, but they don’t have a clue how much work is involved!

I do not think it's a problem since we need them to join WA

Some will be thrilled for you. Others will think you are wasting your time and money. Be prepared for both reactions, and don't let the naysayers get you down.

I don't see any harm in that...

As we promoting WA to our audience, friends and family member, l believe it should be fine. Further, they can sign up as a free member anytime.

I just want to be doubly sure about this. Should we use the keyword in writing the SEO Title and SEO Description inside the dashboard? I am concerned that this may be considere

I've placed the Keywords in all my titles and again two or three times in the blog and I haven't had any issues, I currently have 14 blogs ranking highly. Keyword stuffing would be when you do it a dozen or more times. Jim

Thanks, but that is not my question. I have been doing essentially what you are doing.

I am talking about the SEO Title and SEO Description which is not visible to the outside world.

I have always used it as well. Never had an issue. I can't see how it would affect anything . Jim

Thanks. i need that assurance.
