We had intermittent power outages yesterday from all the lightning, but today is just rainy without any climatic electrical activity.

Thank God for 26,000-watt standby generators, Lol! 😎

The beauty of 26-000-watt stand-by generator, right? Last I heard the storm was exiting North Carolina heading towards East Coast and was due to touchdown in Washington, D.C.

Hope it will head offshore. Looks like ya'll got everything under control with the generators doing their thing.

I know all about the electric storms. I was born and raised in New Jersey. Is it true that if you are in your car during an electric storm, you should remain there until things settle down?

I guess every state has their bone to pick with mother nature. We have earthquakes out this way.

I still wonder why storm chasers are so obsessed with this phenomena, when most people would run as fast as they can.
