Since the beginning of life and as we studied at school, the day consists of 24 hours!

For me the day consists of 48 hours!

Guess how!

I do two things at the same time! I listen to a lecture while driving! I learn something while watering my flowers, I watch something while eating! and so on and so forth.

As it is said.. Choose to focus your time, energy and consevation around people who inspire you, support you and help you to grow you into your happiest, strongest, wisest self.

Hey Rania,
Good to read from you again.

Multitasking is good way to get more than one thing done at a time but the tasks have to be carefully chosen else productivity will be wounded.

Some lectures can be taken while driving. Others need practice along the line so you see it won't work when you are on the steering.

And yes, your conclusion is one of the strongest personal development tips around today and thanks for sharing it.

I hope you are having a wonderful week

Thanks dear friend Enstine.. I totally agree with yr opinion.. Yes I listen to things that doesn't need illustrations. Some videos need to be listened and watched so as to understand it properly.
Wishing you all the best!

I’m going to be a little controversial here because I am not in agreeance with multitasking. My question is are you really getting the most out of each single activity by doing two at once?

When you water the flowers why not actually immerse yourself in the task at hand, appreciate the colors and the sounds of being outdoors. Really look at your garden and be at peace.

When you are learning apply yourself fully, concentrate on the one task, to the exclusion of all else. Take notes, go back and listen again when necessary, stop and think how you will apply what is taught.

As a society we value and promote multitasking as a way to get more done in less time. I do it in my JOB everyday, if you are seen to be working on two or three projects at once you are deemed to be productive. But I beg to differ.

Yes we can do it, but I’ll wager if we concentrate fully and immerse ourselves in one task until completion we would be more creative, more productive and more fulfilled human beings.

Just my two cents worth and as always appreciate others thoughts.

Yes that's true my dear but sometimes and special occasions when we are in a hurry and need to accomplish a lot, I do this

I have to agree with you here.
Even drinking coffee while learning or doing something else can spoil the enjoyment of the coffee. And what made me think of that is the fact that I have a coffee right now and sometimes when I do this my hand reaches out for my mug and I find it empty! Yes I have had my coffee and didn't even taste it!
But then I have never been good at multi-tasking anyway.

I usually get overwhelmed doing 2 or more things at a time. I try if I really have to do them, but you're right, doing one thing and focusing on it is a better option. Good for your health, as well.

Haha - I seem to do it everyday.
The only multi-tasking I can do well is when I switch the washing machine (or dishwasher) on and get on with something else.
Does that count? :) :) :)
