Chicken Poop and Affiliate Marketing
You take them home and the next few weeks revolve around them. You feed them special ground feed with just the right vitamin mix, and the water has just the right levels of electrolytes added to it. If you get it all right you have a pen full of little birds that are just cute to look at. Growing so quick you cant believe it. Oh yea and you get chicken poop to, not a lot at first, just little squirts now and then. But like the chick you know thats going to grow too.
Finally a few weeks pass and they are big enough to go out in the yard with the other chicks you brought home last year. You watch and wait and then it finally happens, that first egg, the beginning of repayment for all work you put into them. And yes you get a lot more poop than you used to get.
Affiliate marketing is like this as well. You start of with some fragile idea, feed it(content), water it(add your post to google) and every now and then something goes sideways and you get a little squirt of poop (error 404 page not found). You clean it up, feed it some more and what do you get. A grown up website that repays you with you first egg.
Yes you still have to feed it and water it, and when it poops its usually a bigger mess than when it was little. But you are getting greater rewards and you are happy.
So todays lesson, a little chicken poop isn't always a bad thing.
Just added a picture, she is an Easter Egg Chick, They lay pastel blue, green or pink. You don't know till they lay one.

A very interesting article comparing affiliate marketing to rearing chicks...lol! But why at I convinced? And the the poops...
Thanks for this funny article. It really lights up my day!
Cathy
I am so happy you like it, sometimes all you can do is make someone smile. For the day I posted this it was my victory.
That's one way of looking at chicken and chicken poop. My son had pet chickens (Jungle fowl variety), really tiny ones. They all had personalities that's different from each other. We loved them all and will never forget them.
Now I'll never look at chickens and not see the WA sign over them ever. And likewise, I'll never look at the WA logo and not associate it with chickens and chicken poop.
Thank you for this very interesting lesson Randy. God bless....

My pleasure, thank you so much for reading. I was walking through Wal-Mart and thought I heard chirping, they really grow on you. I am going to research maybe next year we'll do the tiny ones.
Tell us about it and maybe photos too when you do. We really missed our pets. I've attached a picture of an offspring of Snoopy, our first chicken whom we named Whitewash as he's completely white with gold flecks in his feathers.
Blessings....
Shirley
