My WA activities-- Yearly as a true shopaholic
So that's right-- I upgraded to a yearly account. I'm sure most people aren't surprised. I planned on going yearly since December but i decided to wait it out till I was close to my subscription renewal date.
Why did I upgrade to yearly?
Well firstly-- my site needed it. You could say why not find somewhere to do cheaper hosting and you'd be absolutely correct!! I could but i'm so new in the site development process that right now, all my time is focused on writing Content and generating Traffic. I don't have time to research for a new hosting company and to worry how to transfer everything. My site is too integrated with WA to leave now.
Secondly-- my site also needs the community! I ask so many questions via live chat in a week. I read so many training and success stories here. I interact with so many like minded people here. If I left now, I would feel like i'm being voted off the island.
Furthermore-- you could also say that I upgraded because I felt like I did not want to lost my already invested dollars. Like a true gambler, I simply do not want to quit. I put in my initial $19 in here-- I don't want to lost it. I paid for my web site name (99c from godaddy) but I still do not want to lose a penny. Another issue I have with my investment is that I have to convince my other half that every penny I spend is not another lost cent on a fools dream. I have too much to prove at this point to leave!
But most importantly-- I really want to do well. I want to succeed on my site. I truly care about my niche. I'm passionate about it. I'm not just writing on a site for money, i'm writing about something I love and getting money from it at the same time. I've also told so many people about my dream to do well in this business venture that I simply do not want to fail. Its not in my personality. I've always worked hard to excel, I don't want this do be something I half-assed or something I simply failed at.
Understand why now?
So do you get it? Do you understand why I upgraded? It just made sense when I thought about all the reasons why I should and shouldn't. When I noticed that I couldn't leave this community, all that was left to do was to figure out how I could save on the membership. Lets be honest, i'm a shopaholic who's now into couponing and finding great deals. So hell yeah-- i'd take $300 over (almost) $500 any day!
Anywho-- this is way to long, i need to stop writing!! Anyone else on here bought a yearly membership? I hope i'm not the only one! And if i'm the only one, i'd like to know why some people choose to stay monthly. Plus, are there any sales on membership? Am I missing out on saving some bucks? Write below-- i'm interested in hearing it all.

I will also upgrade to yearly, probably in March. I wouldn't consider looking for different hosting, it can actually work out more expensive and you don't get any help. You are doing great right where you are!
Agreed. I like having everything in one so the fact that i can have my hosting and training combined is great. Everything in one location-- what more can i ask for!!
Great post! I think I might upgrade to yearly soon.
I checked out your site and it looks awesome! About how many posts does it have so far?
Not much, just 14. I've only been posting about 2 a week and I started in December. I'm trying to build a following and also trying not to burn out. Others on here post way more than I do though.
First off, your site rocks. Second, I can't wait to see where it goes in the year ahead. I know this is going to be one of your most exciting years yet and based on what I have seen from you thus far, you have a brilliant career ahead of you in the online world.
Thanks! Fingers crossed Kyle-- I just gotta keep on going till I get to where I truly believe I can achieve!!
I think so too! Financially it's an obvious move but as I started in the post, this was more than saving a few bucks for me! I've been here for only a month and engaging with the community is already a huge part of my day.
Yes, recently I signed up for a year, bur I do not see it as a gamble. I am now on course 3 (monetizing the site) lesson 7 and I am sure that I am going to get my investment back. It just takes some hard work and dedication! I am now a follower.
Thanks! I don't gamble but I was just trying to highlight the fact that I can't quit! This will take time, and as much as my whole personality is revolting against being patient-- I drive to succeed is stronger so I'm going to keep on going!

Great inspirational story. Good for you. Personally I have to have some income coming in before I can go yearly, but I'm heading in that direction. Thank you for this motivational post. Ever Forward.

I understand what you're saying but that comes up to so much money in the end. I'm trying to save as many dollars as I can!
