Getting Sorted
Introduction
Good Afternoon to all you wonderful people at the Great WA Family as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
The title of this weeks ramblings could have been a number of things as I will explain;
For sometime I have been asking my daughter to sort her Mum's things out, she has tried once, when she took the jewellry, but keeps saying that it is too soon. I have managed to look in some of the cupboards in the kitchen , as a result my daughter-in-law has had the coffee machine, I have no use for it.
I was talking to my sister the other week and mentioned this, her reply was "It is your house and kitchen , you must have it as you want it" This I have decided to do.
For sometime before she died Yvonne wanted the duvet changed in our bedroom, whilst I have changed the sheet I have been loathe to change the duvet. This week I decided that I have got to have things as I want them and move on. Off to the shops, back with a new duvet and cover, pillow cases and a new fitted sheet. Also a new mattress topper, have binned the rest, except the duvet.
The old cover was pink, I have chosen a rather nice pale cream with a very light green background, it has brightened the bedroom up really well.
I have also sent a number of jumpers and blouses to charity, OK it did upset me, as I can remember her wearing the different items as I packed them, but they are no use to anyone anymore!
The so called guest bedroom was housing most of the clothes as I emptied the wardrobes and drawers, giving me more space for my things. It would be nice to be able to have a guest stay again!
I do not consider what I am doing to be getting rid of Yvonne, which I will never do! more getting the place as somewhere to live as I want to. After all it is over nine months now, and I think that It is time that I got on with my life, one thing is certain I will never forget that wonderful lady who was my wife for almost fifty-six years and bore me two great children.
The Last Few Days
In addition to the sorting out I have had time to reflect on the business. I have decided to go through the training at WA again as I have forgotten certain things and feel that it will do me good. Also will redo my hub training, ready for when I start to sort out my web sites.
As I have decided to redesign some of the garden, there will be a lot of tidying up to do, OK weeding! to this end I intend that I will have one of my garden bin bags in the summer house at all times, the idea being that when I pull a weed or two out I will have somewhere to put them. Then when the bag is full, I can take it up to the house to put in the bin.
Thinking of gardening is quite funny as it must have rained for more than twenty-four hours in the last couple of days! Cannot argue that we did need it.

You seem to have made great progress this week. Starting to clear out things that will no longer be used is a big step. Your sister is right. You should now arrange everything in the house and garden the way you like and the way that works best for you.
Going back to the start of the training is a good idea for your business. So much has changed and is still changing rapidly. The training was updated fairly recently but in the meantime there has been new development of the AI tools. The image generator is brilliant! Just remember that it is an image generator and it's not yet perfect with text, so best not to give it too much.
It's been nice seeing you log in every morning and evening. Enjoy your progress, both sorting out house and garden and getting back to your business.

Well VH,
I'm back! It was a whirlwind!!!! The Rockettes were FABULOUS. I don't know where they get the energy to do so many shows each day. They did NOT disappoint. TN was a lot of fun as well. WAY too much food was consumed (and wasted). I hate wasting food but each portion was enough for at least 2 people. Then the last stop walking in one of our battleground cities. It was a great week vacation. Now back to getting ready for Christmas and all my responsibilities.
This week is jam packed again. Good thing I have a calendar!
It sounds like you've been busy. I can imagine it must be hard to go through all Yvonne's things but you know when it's right. It might help to create an environment different from what you had with her. Of course you'll NEVER forget and the holidays will be the worst. You'll get through them day by day.
I must say it's good to be home and my own bed will feel good. I've already started my "to do" list for tomorrow (my only "free" day). I'm not leaving the house tomorrow. Hopefully by Tues, the wind will die down. My little car had a hard time staying on the road coming home. It was very windy.
So, you have a great week and I will be "talking" to you.

Just hung some washing out, it is a lovely day, but really cold, feel like winter is starting to arrive a tad early.
Did make a list last night feel as if I am slowly coming back into the real world, but it most certainly is one day at a time.

I guess we're both back to the real world. I was horrible this morning. Even though I was awake, I rolled over in my bed for another hour. It felt SO good to be home and now I feel even better because I'm unpacked and have some sense of organization.
I am NOT a fly by the seat of my pants sort of girl. I have to have structure and a plan. Must be the accountant in me.

I had an extra hour this morning. bib sleep wel in my new linen!
It is towel wash day today, have them ready to rinse and then hang out as the sun is shining!
