Why Would Someone Like My Website and Me?
Hello Everyone,
Today I wanted to talk about a simple yet effective way to grow your business.
In the past I have been asked questions, read comments and completed training like everyone on here. What I see over and over is people wondering how they get others to visit their website and maybe buy at some point. Since I try to be honest and transparent, this Is what works for me. I won't be the first nor the last to mention what I am about to say. Here we go.
I think we buy as much into people as we buy into products. I strongly believe that if you provide value all the time, build rapport and have integrity then it will be a lot easier to build your brand. I know that it is not for everyone to make daily videos or talk about themselves but when you can buy a certain product pretty much anywhere, wouldn't you prefer to know who you are buying it from?
I am a huge proponent of attraction marketing, I don't make claims I can't prove or back up, I share my story even if it means that I discuss depression and other sensitive topics. Who I am is who I am, I have been hurt, I have cried, I have suffered. I have also made money, helped others and build lifelong friendships with fellow entrepreneurs, why am I saying this? Because it is true, plain and simple.
Notice how I don't pitch anything, it drives me nuts when the first interaction I have with someone is them sending me a link to the next 'best thing'. Argh. lol.
The reason I go live on Facebook all the time is to build that rapport, establish trust, when we have our business building challenges that don't cost anything, it is again to provide value and build 'You'. I believe in me, I can do this and deserve success. So do you.
If you provide value, you can't go wrong, if you just try to sell stuff, well good luck.
Please say hello, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks
Pierre

I couldn't agree more. We first buy into people, then into products and services. Be it teachers, dentists, shop-assistants, site owners. Of course we want professionalism, but we want it combined with good ethics and decent attitudes.(nice personality, if possible, too) :)

Hi Vera,

Hello Pierre, thanks for sharing this blog and I really have to say that I like your attitude and you are like myself in so many ways so I am sure we will both get on. xxx
Hi Cheryl
Thanks for the kind words, in a crazy world, it is nice to find fellow entrepreneurs helping each other just because it helps. I am very happy we are on the same page and same network.

My desire is to follow this course but being a newbie and never done any online marketing I have a lot to learn. I appreciate all the insight I get from everyone at WA.
Hi Mary,
Hi Mary, learning is great here on WA, there is so much online as well. Social Media is also a great platform (s).

Hey now Mickey,
We are in agreement .
I submit, I have not started posting anything as yet.
However, there is a principle at play, A person does not want to know about u until they know how much you care about them.
Blessed and highly favored,
Your WA,
Rome
True but the convo has to start somewhere so if you show who you are, it does help to start the dialogue.
Take care Rome,
Pierre
Pierre, I agree with what you have said. It is all about trust. I'm not up to doing video yet, but I would like to see you do. Could you let me know where I can view your videos?
Hi Frank, they are on my Facebook page, just send a friend request if you want.

I know. Trust me, the first one for me is where I told friends and family that my wife left me and was now divorced and that I was depressed. Almost 900 people watched my story, yikes. lol
I was nervous BUT I did it because my 'why' was more important than my fear. basically, me providing a future for my son and my family was more important that the fear of the camera, It gets easier, promise. lol

This is nice Pierre. I totally agree. That is why I chose a niche that I care about and know about personally. I don't want to have a website focusing on a topic that is a strain to write about or only about selling something.
Hi Jessica, Your passion is obvious, no doubting that.
I agree, I could not have a website on zuchini, simply cannot, lol.

Ha ha! Yes, well that is how I feel about some of the work from home sites. I would struggle with that since I don't have an interest in learning about every other program! I know I would get bored or burned out. It works great for some people (like you). It all depends on your interests!
