Quiet But Learning..

So I've been fairly quiet these past few days, but I've been happily learning Word Press, and working on content for my site. I am VERY excited to have learned a few things on my own about HTML code and my most frustrating task of all, has been dealing with my own personal logo and getting it uploaded on certain Word Press themes. Although I searched WA for answers, I couldn't find anything that could help me, so, short of learning how to write code and putting it on a child theme (HA! last month I would have NEVER known what THAT meant!), I found a way to manipulate my logo into most headers!!

My next task, is to figure out how to create a training blog, so I can share this knowledge with all of you!

I'm off to figure that out now.

As far as the logo, document what you learn and then make your own training on it here at WA and get paid for doing it. :)

Hey Nancy, I'm glad that you are going heads down and teaching yourself HTML. Although WordPress does a lot of the work for you, it's always nice to know a little HTML so that you can have more control over how your site looks.

Awesome that you've found how to get your logo into most WordPress theme headers, a very valuable skill!

Thanks Carson! I am certainly trying to take advantage of Word Press taking care of all the coding, but as I go through the different themes, I've picked up a few codes along the way. Looks like I spent the last couple of weeks understand design and the what is happening behind the scenes so that I can feel comfortable with the "flow" of everything else. I think I can finally start concentrating on "business" now! LOL!
