I am trying to reach IQtek--the instructions on how to write a private message do not relate to any of the buttons or submenus that I see. IQtek--I tried to set up my Google Analytics as per the instructions that Google provided. What I ended up with was a lot of gobbledygook at the start of all of my posts. I's sure I did something wrong because I don't see other people's posts looking like that. Can you look at my website, www.wealthyaffiliatelegit.com, and see where I might have made a mistake or mistakes?

IQtek is not part of WA? If the site is hosted here, you can request that they restore a backup of your site prior to your last set of changes.

Huh?
IQtek is the name of someone's domain, just like onmyownterms is the name of your domain. IQtek said he would be happy to help me with any problems.

Ah, off-platform contact like that is prohibited by our community rules.

So how did he gain access to Wealthy Affiliate and Kyle's profile, where his original reply to me came from?

Just because it's in the rules doesn't mean that people don't break them all the time.

Instead of the harsh, hateful comments that I got, I think a better, much more polite way to respond to my first message would have been to put it thusly: "Hello Paul, I understand that you need a quick answer now and then. Now and then is fine, but all we ask is that you be aware that when someone answers your question, they are taking time out of their own training and work schedule to do so. Thus, we ask that you seek quick answers no more than when you really need to, and can't get a quick answer any other way. Also keep in mind, that if you seek answers to your questions through online articles or other online help outside of asking WA members, you may get a more thorough and complete answer to your question than somebody can give you in only a few minutes. Also, keep in mind that not everybody knows as much as they would like to think they know--you may not always get the best advice from a WA member who doesn't understand your question completely and who doesn't know the answer as well as he/she thinks they do. So, if you can access the information you need from information that is available through an online search, you might be better off that way."
In conclusion--everyone--sniping and bitching at someone will only cause that person to become defensive and upset. Be polite when you want to correct someone that you think is wrong. As for helping other people, think of the Good Samaritan--he MADE TIME--when necessary--to help another human being. I invite anyone's reactions.

I’m catching up

Those of you with computer expertise and savvy have a huge advantage at the start over those of us who are having to learn certain computer techniques in order to complete some of the Super Affiliate tasks.
I just learned a couple of weeks ago that there is something called “Banners” for Wealthy Affiliate advertising, and a price and program chart. I am now going back and installing these banners to my posts. I am sure that those of you who are computer savvy knew about these banners months ago and installed them to your posts months ago. Am I right or wrong?
Anyway, I am learning how to “beautify” and “professionalize” my posts—slowly but surely. I look forward to having posts that will engage readers and eventually lead to sales.

I read your comments. Thank you very much. I too get concerned when some of these "gung-ho" beginners do not realize the amount of effort it takes to be successful, let alone get to Vegas. Establish a sustainable business first, then if a trip to Las Vegas comes along, that's just the cherry on top of the ice cream.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Westerns and historical fiction books are what I think my niche should be.

My next novel, "The One Who Loves You," is due out in 2018. Who will win Daniel Hackett's heart? Will it be the young woman who wants him to find gold for her, or another young lady found along the Overland Trail in 1867 Wyoming Territory, a young lady with a speech impediment who has to use actions, not words, to express her feelings?

My first novel, which came out eight or nine years ago, is entitled "Freedom's Long March", about a Germanic tribe which is trying to remain free of Roman conquest. Then, "The Gifts and The Fruits" continues the story of Catia, who in FLM fell under the influence of the Apostle Paul, as she marries Onesimus and works to smuggle copies of Paul's letters out of Rome and away from Emperor Nero. Then, my first Western, "West of the Sunset" about 19-year-old Tyler Linders and his 12-year-old sister, Penny, on the Oregon Trail in 1852, and all of the adventures and love interests they have. Then, "Against the Wild Green Range" about a 22-year-old young woman who inherits a cattle ranch in 1872 Wyoming Territory, right near the Sioux hunting grounds.
