How to be a great procrastinator
How to be a great procrastinator
By Paul F. Murray
While reading the information which Kyle provided as a preface to Lesson 4 regarding my online Wealthy Affiliate business, I was intrigued by the question about wasting time. I have sometimes had a lot of self-discipline and dived right into that day’s work and learning. At other times, I have found myself scared and afraid to dive in for fear of not being able to understand the lesson material. At such times, I have found myself often doing one or more of the following:
- Checking my emails frequently. You never know when I will find one or two really interesting ones. This is particularly the case since I am single and a member of several dating sites.
- Listening to music on YouTube. It’s all free, and it’s there for the listening anytime you want to kill a few minutes and move yourself closer to the time you plan to stop for the day.
- Using the internet to go over the sports on TV for that evening.
- Check out the Fox News, CNN, MSNBC online news. What’s happening in Washington or North Korea or Syria may be more important than getting meaningful online work done anyway.
- Engaging in too much chat, even within training. Chat can be a tremendous boon for people looking for quick answers from people with more experience and knowledge than they have. It can also be a great way to use your experience and knowledge to help others along. Or, alternatively, it can be a way to kill some time by simply engaging in gobbledygook conversations that just serve to successfully eat up time.
- Worrying about this, that, or the other thing, such as what I should buy at the supermarket for supper.
I’m being facetious, of course. I have found that—usually—when I dive right into that day’s super affiliate training, the lesson is not as difficult as I had thought. And if it is, the community and Kyle are there to help.
Have I touched all of the procrastinator ideas, or are there some more out there?

It was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but maybe that is something worth thinking about. All the best to you.

Here is what doesn't procrastinate, those wanting your money from your debt. It's a great motivator to keep working instead of procrastinating.
