The year the earth changed.

Greetings WA Family.

COVID-19 is changing the world as we have known it. Call it fate, call it whatever, but in my case, I am fortunate that I am still no longer in the Hospitality Industry which has been decimated by this worldwide epidemic.

I am so glad that I came across The Wealthy Affiliate platform and that I can control my own destiny from here on out from the comfort of my home.

Starting a success online can be done, but it requires effort.

In March of 2020, it was announced that a deadly virus was sweeping around the world.

"Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory tract infection caused by a newly emergent coronavirus that was first recognized in Wuhan, China in December 2019."
By the time this information arrived at our doorsteps here in the western world, it was too late.
Overnight, our lives were put at a pause thereby making many of us readjust thinking.

The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020, declared COVID-19 a pandemic, pointing to the initial number of over 118,000 cases of coronavirus illness in over 110 countries and territories around the world and the sustained risk of further global spread.

The WHO went on to issue a stay home, stay safe order directing all global residents to quite simply "stay at home."
How did this order affect you?

We here in Ontario, Canada are under further stress as in parts of the province we are seeing 20% infection rates and we are still under the “Stay at Home” order. Our hospitals cannot take on more.
It is a mess here in Ontario.

With all of that said and so many people suffering in so many parts of the world, is there a silver, gold, or platinum lining to this year that changed the world?

I think so.

I believe that due to our normal activities being brought to a halt, to a certain extent, and the multi-billion travel industry (as an example) being brought to a halt, this year has given Mother Earth and all the creations of life that Mother Earth offers a chance to recuperate.
I was born in Northern India way back in 1959. From where I was born, I could see the Himalayan mountain range. When I went back to India in 1980, I could not see it from my grandparents home.
3 months after the pandemic the controls, my cousin from Jallunder is able to see those same mountains every day. The River Ganges is the cleanest it has ever been.
