Hi WA Family.

This post is in reference to my last post.

What is more necessary? Comments or likes?

I have more comments than likes.

What does that mean about my post?

Your thoughts would be valued.

Peace, love and light from Canada,

Paul

Yeah I like to get comments so that I cn understand what my audience is thinking. But as Jeff says likes move you up more it would seem
Hugh

t\Thank you, Hugh.
I will take the comments and appreciate the likes.
Paul.

Good one Paul lol

Peace.

Likes actually cause it to rank higher, but comments show that you spurred on conversation, Paul!

Jeff

This has been my experience with ranking in the Top 10 posts, anyway!

I don't understand, Jeffrey.
Please forgive me.

What am I missing here?

Paul.

Paul,

There have been times when I have had many comments but only few likes and other posts were ahead with fewer comments and many likes! Many times comments are compounded by conversations within the thread, including your own comments which are also counted, whereas, likes are unique--each one represents a unique visitor!

Jeff

Nice,
Thank you.
What more can be said?

That's probably about it, Paul! Thanks!

Jeff

Surely comments should mean more that someone merely clicking on the like button!

Hi Geoffrey Ci
I think that I would agree with you.
Do you want to talk? That is my case.

Peace, love and light.

Paul from Canada.

Our own comments, and even conversations which develop within a thread are ALL counted. Each like is unique and only counted once!

I would prefer to have comments/engagement within my posts, than to have someone click a like button. This is actually hard to achieve. It is almost always, the other way around. :)

Hi Kyle.
Paul Mindra here fron Ontario, Canada.
It is very nice to hear from you personally.
As you know, I have been here since May of 2016 and WA remains to be my home online.

You would prefer to have comments/posts within your posts than to have someone click a like button.

You are correct. It is hard to achieve. The post written is too long and too hard to understand. So we click the "Like" out of respect.

How are you and your family doing? Kindest regards to Carson and his family too.

I am doing well, but as you might know, I lost 4 members of humanity to Covid-10 and 2 more are in ICU.

For some reason, I am gifted to see such things happen before my eyes.

For those that say that Covid-19 is a scam...choose.

Do you remember back in 2016,2017 I wrote to you about accepting Bitcoin on your platform?

You made a joke about it.

So, with having 21 btc and WA I am in good shape.
there are others that have more than 21,

Peace, love and light, Kyle

You and Carson are special people..
Let's talk soon.
Paul.

Comments are more important because it shows that you are engaging your readers. The first reason, though, is that it adds to the word count in your article.
