How to Go Incognito and Why.
I learned a few things yesterday about using private browsing mode or going Incognito as it is also called. Thanks to varleysheen who brought this to my attention.
In Firefox, you press Ctrl+Shift+P or go to File in the top left window and select new Private window.
In Chrome, press Ctrl+shift+N
On your iPhone, press the tab icon in the bottom right corner and the tap Private.
Most mobile devices have a private browsing tab, check in your settings.
Incognito mode does not keep your browsing activities private from your ISP or online snoops. It does keep your activity private from other users and erases your browsing and search history nor will it pick up cookies. This mode then is easier than logging out and clearing your cache.
This mode is helpful:
1). When you need to use a public computer, such as the library or internet cafe.
2). When checking your search ranking, so, that your search results will not be biased towards your previous search history.
3). If you are working across multiple accounts, such as one google account for your company working on spreadsheets and another for your personal email, you can use both at once by using incognito mode for one of them.
Thank you, again, to Varleysheen who brought this to my attention..
I hope that is helpful. I learned something! Have a great day!

Hello, Val, You are learning with me so thank YOU! I need that kitty cat! Have any kittens? Off point sorry....
Lol! The kittens all grew up. You would need to come up here to the 'Great White North' to visit them :-) Of course, you are welcome.
Thank you Pj. That is a good reminder for everyone For all the Firefox users it is File->New Private Window.

Good post. I was so excited about my site, till I found this out (a while back). It's actually still not that bad. Better to know the real facts. Geoff
Sometimes just keeping it all together is a balancing act. I have decided a website is like having a child that never grows up... Lol!
Yes, you should be able to find private browsing on any mobile device.
Check in your settings menu..
Pj~Thank you for sharing this. Never heard about it before......but there's a lot regarding the computer I've never heard about!!! Secure and cookie free browsing.....all good.
Thanks again.

Awesome post with much needed data for everyone. Google is a great source but is also a great deceiver. I've watched countless gurus brag about the first page Google thing as they pull up "their results on their browser". What an eye opener from the fantastic people at WA.
Right!? you said it dear! have a great one and thanks for you and your help!
