AI Blog Posts Reflected in the Numbers

As there's been a lot of discussion in WA about whether AI (and ChatGPT in particular) is a positive or negative in the creation of blog posts, I thought I might provide some numbers.

For the past 30 days or so, I've been publishing ChatGPT created blog posts on one of my websites.

Perhaps I should say "assisted" rather than "created" because they start out as PLR, I use ChatGPT to rephrase them, create the blog post, add a Pixabay image to each paragraph and flow the text around it and then publish it.

Total time maybe a couple of hours and usually indexed by GSC within a couple more.

Here are the results from GA via Monster Insights:

As you can see, everything increased, but I was particularly happy to see an average session duration of almost 20 minutes.

That would indicate that visitors are finding them worth reading, even though ChatGPT had a large hand in creating them.

Incidentally, one of the posts is also on Google page 1.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like any help to implement this technique.

Impressive results with AI-assisted content creation! The increased average session duration and Google page 1 ranking are clear indicators of quality. This showcases the potential of AI in content creation, making it more efficient and effective. It's exciting to see how this trend will evolve in the content landscape. Thanks for sharing these insightful numbers!

Important to remember that each of these posts started out as high-quality PLR.

I am carpet bombing my site with 30 posts a week - all written in Koala. I research the keywords, create titles and then ask Koala to bulk create the articles and I publish them as is to my site.

I then spend the next week cleaning up and rewriting some of the content. They are ranking within minutes as well.

For me personally, as long as you personalise the posts a little, and obviously do your links, graphics and tags, then AI is definitely a tool worth getting a handle on.

Your approach is clearly paying off, Paul. Well done!

Paul, is the content generated by koala permitted to be used. Specifically you tube videos it comes up with? Can I assume it is permitted to post those videos? Second, when I copy and paste generated page into my website the you tube videos just show up as links instead of the actual pic of the video like it shows in the koala generated post. How can I get it to look on my website like it does in koala?

I only use it for blog posts and priduct reviews so in those cases it is the same as ChatGpt.

It is not perfect and I often check accuracy etc. but it is generally a good baseline.

I don't ask it to add pics or vods so not sure about that sorry. I would be checking that the video can be shared though

Paul

how c an I check if the video can be shared? Does koala have a customer service dept where I can ask them? I did not see an option to contact them on their website

No I think you check in YouTube. My understanding is that if the share button is visible and works, then it can be shared

Phil1944, Thanks for the information. You put a lot of images in your blogs. I think I will increase my images. I think you are correct in suggesting that AI is something we have to learn to use, rather than thinking of it as something that will do all our work for us. AI will never be more than our helper but an amazing helper.

I tend to put an image in any paragraph that's long enough for the text to wrap comfortably around it. I believe good images encourage visitors to keep reading.

That's great information. I too use Chat GPT in a similar fashion. There are occasions I write the entire article then run it through Chat to see what recommendations are made. Most of the time, Chat reveals something that I overlooked or changes something that sounds better than how I wrote it. Regardless, my writing/content is better now than without the intervention of AI.

That sounds like a great way to use it, Grant.

Hi there, Phil.

You are slaying the AI-generative tools seamlessly. You are on a roll, my friend. However, the PLR is way over my head. I copied the names of the authors that you mentioned. As soon as I get a chance, I'll dive in to see what this entails.

Thanks for sharing.

PLR is simple. It's content written by someone else that you buy the right to use. The authors that I listed produce quality content. The downside of PLR used to be that other people had bought exactly the same thing, but now you can fix that with a ChatGPT "rephrase".

Thanks, Phil.
You are really a genius.
Rachele

No, just been around a while lol.
