Hi Team, I'm building a website for a client and I am going to build it here. How do I purchase a domain name, in the client's name, if he is not a WA member so that he owns th

Always get your client to purchase the domain that way they own the rights to it. If you join one of the companies that do domains and hosting you can f course earn a commission by recommending them. So its a win win ... the client still owns all the rights and has full control you get a small commission for your time.

What I want to do is host his site at WA and use the tools here to promote his site. He's my client but he's not going to do any work on the site I am and I really like the tools here. Is that possible or not? That's what I would like to know. Or can he get a free account, give me access to it and we go from there or even a premium account although I really don't want to do that.

There's nothing stopping your adding to your hosting at WA but still get him to buy domain and change the dns to point at WA then he can give you access to the site.

He would have to buy it in his own name to receive all rights and not doing so by proxy.

Thanks for responding, Jerry. Can we do that here and I build the site and do all of the things with his site that we do here with WA?

If you want it that way, yes you can, but he will have no ownership. You have.

Hi Team, is it possible for me to build websites on WA for clients outside of WA and give them access to their account and information without them seeing the other sites that

Yes, this is possible :) You could build a site for a client and then grant them access via the site's wp-admin dashboard where they'd enter their username and password to get in. This allows them to access their site without needing to be a WA member and keeps your WA content and all your other WA sites completely separate.

If you go to your Site Manager and click on the Details button of any site, it will show you the site url and also the wp-admin url. This wp-admin url is how you could have a non WA member access a site created here :)

Thanks, Eric. I should have known this. Blessings.

It's no problem at all :) Glad to help.

My card is being declined. Can you tell me why? I want to use my bank card and not my credit card.

I would check with your card issuer to make sure they aren't putting a hold on the unusual transaction. Sometimes its just a security measure some banks do.

Why is my card being declined?

Hi Guys, I paid for trumpeterministries.org on 3.31.18 with my credit card. Since I had to get a new EPP code it did not go through and it has not been credited to my credit ca

Hey Peter,

You need to contact the person/business who has charged you and explain to them your issue(s). This will be the first thing any credit card support staff will tell you.

If you are unhappy with the response you receive (or they ignore your request), then you can contact your credit card company to see if they can assist you in receiving a refund.

When transferring your website, you really do need to stay with it until the transfer is successful. If you have issues retrieving your EPP code, do check to see what email address you registered your website with. I made THAT mistake myself, so I know it is easily done.

Hope this helps you.
