I am not sure I am using keywords right. When you search for keywords what next, where do you put them, I know you put them in your contents but is that the only play they go, I a

Keywords are only one small aspect of getting traffic. Yes they are important but they are not as important as they once were. In fact you can get highly ranked in Google without them because it is your "content" that will get you ranked and build your traffic.

The way I have been successful in building my traffic is through Social Media. I share my pages and posts on Google+, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn, in that order.

Google+ is by far the BEST way to generate traffic and boost your over all search engine rankings. The way I have been doing this is by searching for Google+ communities that share the same interests in my niche. I then join those communities, network with the members, invite them into my target audience circles, and then share my content with them and the other people in their circles. This has helped me tremendously!

I give an in depth explanation of how I do this and show you some pictures of my results after 24 hours, in my blog post at the link below.

I'm doing the same thing. I get traffic one day and nothing the next. I just need more content. It's all about targeting a number of keywords in your posts. You'll get there -- don't forget about the "low hanging fruit."

Thanks very much I will continue to do that and see what happens

Yes the "low hanging fruit" keywords are the best to use but you also must share your content on social media to really help with building traffic and rankings.

I have done that, but just wasn't sure if what I was doing was the right thing. Thanks very much for your response Steve

Great, now you just need to do that over and over again till the traffic starts:)

Use your keyword phrases in the title of your article and in the first paragraph.

Don't know if what I am doing is right

i need a tutor

Hi carson I am having a lot of problems Should i start over

pfrancis.siterubix.com

Whats your website called (url)?

Hi Pearl,

If you can provide us with some more information we can definitely help out.

Your website "Title" was added when you installed your website. If you would like to change it you can do so from your "Settings => General" page within the back office of your website when logged in as admin.

Keep working through the training and things will continue to fall into place. You've already achieved a major milestone in getting your website up and running!

Nice work!

Carson

Thanks Carson I will keep working through the training and if things dont fall into place I certainly will need your help

What have you done so far and where are you having the issues? If you can tell us what you've done, we can specialize how we help.

I have created a website, I have activated SEO, but I think I missed the part to add my site title or something like that, just watched the video about adding key words, somehow though I think I am a little lost

Building a website on WA will require you to give the site a title and if you didn't, it won't let you proceed. If you did that okay, you will have a site.

If you didn't, then provide the title.

If you did and you're not seeing the site, it could be a propagation issue (normal.) It does take time for your site to propagate across the Internet and this might be a reason why you're not seeing it.

Give the following tool a try. Put your URL both here (so some of us on here can see if it comes up for us) and on the following website which is a propagation-checker.

https://www.whatsmydns.net/‎

Put your URL into the field shown at the top of the page here. Tell me the results. If you get all red lights on the results, then we will go from there.

Okay, I got your message over on my profile. If you are getting all green lights, then your site has propagated and you've done everything properly.

If you still can't see your site, do the following:

First try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, close the window that has your site on it and clear your browser's cache. Then, try it again.
