Amazon associates know that if you don't make a sale within 180 days of your application approval, then you'll be disqualified right?
Yes, I didn't make a sale because of
I hate to tell you this, but you really need to go and put your new codes in after you re-apply because your affiliate code will be different. It may take you to your page, but I'd hate for you to find out later on that you weren't getting credit for your sales because you didn't replace your old affiliate code with the new one. Don't take any chances.
This article may be helpful to you in finding out where you placed your affiliate links on your site so you at least know where to go and update them: Amazon links on your website? Where the heck did I put them? Wishing you all the best.

Not very good pearl ...
Having more than 40 competitors for a keyword that would generate less than 10 visitors per month (which could be anything between 1-10) is far from being ideal ...
You should try to find a better keyword term ...
What about a keyword which is highly competitve; say about 200 competitors and traffic of about 3,000.
Is this good or bad?
Too many competitors ...
As you said ... The less competitors the better ... Preferably under 50
And the more traffic the better ... Preferably more than 100

Go to the top of your WA Dashboard on the black bar. Over to the right there is a $ symbol. Click that and go to Links and Tracking.

You do it within your domain name's details, which you get to by logging in through your domain name registrar.
Find your DNS (Domain Name Server) settings. Change them from WA's to Godaddy's.
It's nothing to do with IP address.
