Help is just a click away
We are getting so many new members daily here at WA! That's awesome! I'm so glad so many people are discovering the opportunities offered at Wealthy Affiliate University. I've been here a little over 6 months now, and I'm still just as convinced as ever that my greatest opportunity to make money at my age is right here.
Those of you who are new to WA, listen up! Don't let anything or anyone dissuade you from pursuing your dream. The quickest way to success here is to take no detours. Focus on the training lessons and do them ALL ----- in order! Even though the tasks seem simple, they are important to give you confidence in learning the skills necessary to succeed. Do them!
Don't be distracted reading blogs and going to chat for long periods of time. Your priority is to get your website up and running. If you are going to write....write things for your website! Good content is essential for drawing traffic off the internet to your business.
When you run into problems or have questions about something you just can't figure out, go to the chat room and ask for help. Usually there is someone there ready and willing to help you with the answer. If no one there can help, type your question in the little box at the top of your screen and open a discussion about the problem. You'll find the WA community eager to help you if you just give us a shout out!

Distractions, detours.... oh yah, I can attest to their existence. Pat is totally on the money here... don't fall for them... learn from my mistakes!!!

Yah, the way I look at it Pat, is that it took quite a while for Simon Peter to get the details straightened out and put the blinders on. It'll happen when it's supposed to! LOL!!!
I swear, I saw you shaking a very stern finger at me throughout that entire post. I felt you were speaking to me alone! I feel I should find a quiet place somewhere and say two Hail Marys out loud and repent for my sin of laziness.

Oh, Oscar! You DO have a way of bringing a smile to my face! Now get yourself out of purgatory and back to your computer. No stern finger shaking here....just some gentle nudging! As well as you write, you should be able to whip out an article a day!

I'll come clean, I put up with Purgatory for all of two minutes. What I've been really doing is playing Sorry and Trouble (not simultaneously) with my daughter, Nina (6). Now we are watching, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, and let the website apply its own makeup.
