The Joy Of Smiling
A Meeting
Some time ago in cyber-space I met this wonderful person . She said that some of my work had made her smile . What a nice compliment to receive from anyone .The ability to make someone smile , must be a wonderful gift , ranking right up there with healing . We've all seen some comedian capture an audience in their web of laughter . Laughter is one of nature's healing powers . It is the medicine that rejuvenates the soul .
Types Of Smiles
Smiling seems to begin in human babies as early as the first 6 to 8 weeks of life . The giggling sound of a baby , or the laughter of a young child , can turn any frown into a smile . The learned men and women of science have even come up with " names " for the smiles we produce . Not being a learned man of science , I have broken smiles into two main groups ... the superficial Pan-Am smile and the deep rooted , down to the soul ...type of smile .
In Wonder
As I sit here in wonder , I try to imagine what type of smile I had brought to this woman's face . A smile is a frown turned upside down . A smile is a reflection of the soul . A smile is also more powerful than a frown . A smile will re-energize a tired spirit . A smile will send positive energy into the universe . Nice Pau and so, so true. It takes more energy and muscle movement to frown then it does to smile, so why wouldn't we smile all of the time... thus saving energy to climb more mountains... cheers... :)
