Current Job Situation
So, does anybody out there in W.A. feel like me, stuck in a situation where you really have no choice? Well your not alone, so many of us came to W.A. for the same reason, to get the !!!!! out of our day jobs. God I hope this dream will come true for me, and for many of you. Sometimes I feel like the owner of the company I work for doesn't really give a damn for the people who make him all his money. Its really frustrating at times, which I'm sure your all aware of. I just don't get it, wouldn't it be more productive to treat the people who put food on your table better. For instance I have been working for the same company for 20 years, and I have been there through thick and thin. Well the last 2 years the owner has had a Xmas party's for the office staff only. Every other year prior, it has been for everyone. If that doesn't make you feel like an outsider, nothing will. Don't get me wrong, I'm not whining, I just think its wrong. There is a lot of other company's I could work for tomorrow, but its tough to leave after you have invested so much time, don't you think?. Anyway, i would love to hear what you think. I could use a helping hand. LOL.
Cheers Paul. :-)

I came here because of health reason no one would give me a job and I felt frustrated by it all for I felt I still have productive place in society perhaps not on the scale I once had , but still had something to offer which brought me here and I am so grateful I found it to, wish you lots of luck
I think that's what brought most of us to WA. To hopefully get a better life, not dictated by someone else.
Hi. My wife and I made major career changes 14 years ago and have done well and added value to the new organization. Change is OK and guess what, we will survive. I think it's terrible about the change in the Christmas party. I would feel devalued as well.
HI Paul, there will always be people like them- making you feel like you're invisible. Just focus on trying to be a good worker, and you will reap the rewards, even if it's hard to believe.. At the same time, don't give up WA. When the time comes to give up your job, you'll be comfortable earning with your online business, just be patient. Thanks for sharing, it does help opening up.
Keep your eye on the ball, become a WEALTHY affiliate, and move forward. That's what I aspire to do.
We know how you feel, your scenario is not that different from a lot of folks who depend on the "company" for a living. You really begin to feel like a number not a person.
Hey Paul,
Look at it this way - if things were wonderful in your current situation you wouldn't even consider joining WA.
But there is something going on in our lives that hasn't happened in a very long time. The internet has given us all the ability to shape our own destiny without having to depend on anyone else.
That's not to say that it will be an easy journey. But the potential is there and depends on us all making it happen. And even if we think there is a huge amount of competition, there is less than would seem.
Most people that attempt this business have no clue as to how to do it. That's why WA exists - to teach us how. And if you look at it in that light, we have a huge advantage over those others that are trying it with no guidance whatsoever.
You state that you hope this dream comes true. Make it happen. Just keep following the training, implementing what you learn, and asking questions when stuck. That will empower you to approach your current job situation in a whole new light.
Best Regards,
Jim
Your story reminds me of Scrooge, the unhappy, stingy owner who takes advantage of his worker who is always ready and willing to work hard. It's Christmas and an angel visits him and takes him to three places showing his demise and where his faithful worker is. The end of the story is, he changes and makes everything better at work.
In answer to your question. Wait for Christmas and hope for a visiting angel to show him is unhappy, stingy ways. There is always karma.
Hang in there. What is important is that you are fine and doing well here in the WA community. ^_~
Hey paul. I was laid off my job almost two years ago. I worked for a private practice where it was only me and the physician running the office. I worked for him for five years.
It was close to his retirement stage. because he was in his senior years, I did a lot personal duties for him while at the office; running personal errands, taking his car to the car wash, running to get his lunch and things of that nature.
I use to feel like such a slave because I never felt the appreciation.
I think getting laid off was the best thing that could happen to me as far as career status.
If I didn't get laid off, I would not have found the time to come across WA.
I said to myself a year after getting laid off, that I will not work for another employer a day in my life, AND I MEANT THAT
If employers have the ability to run a successful business, then so do I. and because technology is increasing so rapidly, people can get involved in things like this and be successful w/o having to take up a loan and owning the government your life (and your kids life...lol)
So don't feel so bad, if you want my honest opinion (which I'm going to give you anyway) being a member of WA can be the best thing for. you just have to keep in mind that it's a different ball game, so you won'ts get a paycheck every week/two weeks but you can be as successful as you want to be.
NOW THAT'S FREEDOM!!!!
much success to you,
Charlotte
