Site not ranking well
I am entering my fourth month here and am a little dismayed that my site is not ranking well. I have 9 pages and 38 posts so far
I suppose I have some stiff competition within my genealogy niche and so it will take longer to get good rankings. I had hoped that I would be getting good rankings after three months.
Lately I have been adding reviews as I had pretty much neglected this part of my site. Once I have a few more under my belt I will update the structure of my site again. As I build my site I feel I need to better organize it so that people can find information easily.
I feel I am on the right track. It will just take longer than expected and wanted some encouragement I guess.

Hi, Owain, good luck to you! Wow, a WA ranking of 96 in your fourth month?... That's great!!!
Wow. Sounds good. Every project I have ever done took longer than expected and cost more than budgeted. Cost here is negligible, so time will probably be the culprit. Don't give up.
Hi Owen. I think it sounds like you are doing good with getting your content entered. I am having some trouble getting my site arranged the way I want it. I don"t really know that much about how to get it ranked high. I'm still struggling getting my site the way I want it. I wish I could help; but I'm not there yet.
I think at this point, determining the quality of your traffic is important. Look at things like bounce rate and how long people stay on your site. Aim for a 35% bounce rate (or lower), and time enough on the site to read an article. Good luck.

Hi Owain,
You've done a great job in 4 months. I'm approaching 2 months and I've managed 5 pages and 13 posts only. It can be very hard to keep going when you don't see the results you expect. I get disillusioned too but I just keep at it. I'm still only p/time so it's kinda tough but I actually quite enjoy it. Keep going pal.
Thanks Craig,
Since this post I now have 10 pages and 46 posts. I was checking my affiliate accounts regularly and saw I wasn't making any money. I was wondering why I should carry on.
But I have already paid for a yearly membership here and I am not a quitter. I do believe I am building a quality website. And at times I enjoy writing my posts as I am learning new things about my hobby.
That's the spirit mate.
