How's it going after 8 months?
Well it's been 8 months now since I've been here and I have 83 posts under my belt. It has gone a bit slower than I thought but with family life and work it can be difficulty to keep the pace up. But I suppose that's the same for most of us here, right?
But I am putting effort into this and I am happy with my progress. I can see where I want to go with my genealogy site and have a steady list of posts that I want to write. It's just a never ending job filling out my site. But that's good yeah?
Well one revenue stream has been giving me $50 bucks for two months, and now the last month will top that. I have seen an improvement with my Amazon clicks as very rarely will I see that no one has clicked through to Amazon for a given day. And now I see that I am getting sales every few days as well.
I am also seeing a rise in the number of visitors to my site. I was recently getting between 30 to 60 visits a day, but that has no climbed to between 60 to 80. I feel as I add more and more that that number will steadily grow. And so will my sales.
Here's to the next month. Can't wait to see what happens to it and report to you guys

4 more months might surprise you, and all together that's still a total of 1 year! Congrats on your progress.

Thanks. I forgot to say that I have not yet targeted high priced products on my site. But I intend to add a new section to my site where I will be reviewing a load of different items, some between $100-$150.
So I'm sure my revenue stream will indeed increase greatly.
