A wake up call from Amazon
I have received an email from Amazon regarding my Amazon Associates account. Not the one that I would like to get.
As you probably know, Amazon rejects your account if it has not referred a sale to Amazon.com within 180 days.
I was not rejected. Yet. I got what you may call the warning notice that if my account will not refer any sale to Amazon I will reject it when my 180 days end.
I didn't check exactly but I think I am at half of my period. I have almost no traffic to my site and obviously no sale. I am quite concerned that it is more than possible I will end those 180 days with no sale.
I wonder how many of you got that message from Amazon? And how many of you have been actually rejected eventually? And what does it say about my progress anyway? Did I take the wrong turn?
I know I should be giving my website at least a year. But I feel this is somehow a wake up call from Amazon.

I joined the Amazon affiliate program in 2010 on a previous site I had which I ditched in 2012. I think I only had one sale with Amazon. When I started up with WA in Dec 2014, my Amazon affiliate account was still active. I have not yet received the 180 day notice. Perhaps I'm grandfathered in.
Hang in there! I suppose if you get desperate you can always get a friend to buy something off your Amazon links?
