I've heard that Aweber is best, but never tried it up to now. Financial issue.
I've also heard that it has one month free trial.
Thanks, I've gone for Aweber and their 30 day free trial - Just waiting on password being sent before I spend another day setting things up - damn MailChimp ;-)
Thank you for the update.
Thanks for giving me more feedback as you move along with it.
Soon I'll also go for it.
So far so good Usiba. I have my account set up, new sign-up form installed on my website with a double opt-in and it's linked to my free download once they confirm subscription. Also set up a template for my newsletter. All tried and tested. All in, a pretty painless experience, although it's another day spent in front on the pc doing something that basically I already had set up ;-) I'll say it again, "damn you MailChimp" lol
Yes, I think that's a problem with Mailchimpl I use GetResponse and have never had a problem. I think Aweber might be ok too but I don't actually use that one.
Oh, sorry...didn't know you had a gambling site. Don't know anything about that....I just do affiliate type stuff and do use GetResponse.
I checked Aweber, they had nothing in their Terms that I thought I could violate ;-) but I had a chat with one of their service reps and they confirmed that gambling content and affiliate links were all okie dokie :-)
UPDATE: Just had an email saying my account's been disabled and the only option I have now is to download reports or close my account. That's a real pain as I now have to change the website as the 'free' product I was offering initially in return for an email address was working - it was only when I went in to set up a new newsletter that I've came unstuck. Grrrr...

So sorry this happened to you. I actually did a review of MailChimp. Although it is a good selection for most, it is definitely not for affiliate marketers for the very reason that happened to you.
I point it out specifically in my review.

Yeah I see that at the bottom of the article Verna. Never mind though, you live and learn :-)
It's good that you posted because I think we should take every opportunity to let fellow affiliate marketers know what will happen if they chance using MailChimp, Keep passing the word.
