Comments and Social.
Just a little progress update. For the past few days I've been making a concerted effort to get more comments on my site and expanding my social media reach. I've been trying to offer two comments on other website in order to get one back every time I log in to WA. I've also been going through the 'share your google+' post that Kyle published, following and liking where I can and adding my Google+ and Facebook links in the hope the favour will be returned.
It's definitely adding to my time spent online that's for sure, which is a bit of a pain given that, unusually, the sun is out in Scotland! Hopefully it will be worth it in terms of reach and exposure :-)
I have noticed that despite my increased interaction again on WA my ranking has remained at an almost constant level, which is a tiny bit disappointing - not that I'm concentrating on that too much as I'd rather be learning, working and most importantly earning ;-)

Hello Del, the ranking thing can be a bit confusing and disheartening. Try not to focus on it too much. You are on the right track with socializing and providing comments and feedback. Keep up the good work. Enjoy your vacation.
Do not worry at all about your ranking it has nothing to do with your website - spend your time writing content with good key words and post as this is what draws traffic OK

Yeah Paul I'm not worried about it and I'm totally concentrating on the important stuff, although I'm so looking forward to a wee break and holiday next week :-) It would just be nice to move up the rankings though, even a little lol
