Moving On To YouTube

Over the past few week or two I've been putting more work into, what I call, my second site. I spend so much time on my 'main' site that despite having had the site for a few months I haven't really done that much with it.

Someone said to me recently that it's good I'm "putting myself out there", which was nice because is about me being a stay at home dad and I am getting a bit more comfortable with the idea of doing that. So I've created a few more posts and used social media more to gain a bigger audience, which at the end of the day is what it's all about.

To date though, I've been a bit reluctant to go down the video route but I finally took the plunge today and started a YouTube channel and have put my first video on it! I sometimes feel that getting all this social media presence for two sites takes up as much time as creating content now!

I know social media is important, that's why I spend so much time developing it but I was wondering how much time does everyone else spend on it and who else has a YouTube channel? Have you had much success with it?
