Another course completed
So a few days after completing Course 3, I've now completed Course 4 - The social side of things. So now I have all these new accounts - Facebook, Google+, Twitter and even Pinterest. All adding to the ever increasing daily workload that I'm putting myself under. I'd love to see some reward from all this effort - doesn't have to be financial, some web traffic, some comments, something, anything lol and yes I know I have a couple from you lovely WA folks but just to know my reach is getting beyond here... to the world.
That said however, I know Rome wasn't built in a day. I did some research on my niche this morning in terms of 'premium' sites, where as mine is a 'free' site and I was shocked, nae stunned. There are sites out there charging people money for way less information than I give out for free on my site. Now I have no intention of going down the route of charging people but one site in particular made me extremely angry, charging for initial content which would've been useful but after that I have no idea why you'd be giving them any money. Even their blog hadn't been updated in a couple of months and I think this was backed up by a forum that had more tumbleweeds than comments.
So if I can end up on a crap website like that then surely at some point people can end up on my site where they can get something worth their time, and that my friends actually gives me a healthy glow! :-)

A week on and... well not a lot. Feel like I'm kind of stuck in a rut. Struggling to add to my website, other than the updated daily posts. Still not ranking anywhere on Google and getting no real traffic. It's fair to say my initial enthusiasm is sadly waining.
I did start the Affiliate Bootcamp, but the thought of buying another website, setting it up and trying to get content onto it has me feeling a little jaded, and that would be after trying to figure out another niche to go into with that.
Needing inspiration... ;-)
