It's All In A Letter.
Had my site up & running for a few weeks now, building it out etc. What I've found interesting is how much difference one letter can make when it comes to search rankings, and unfortunately for me I'm one letter too many!
I've named my site 'onlyprofits' and putting in the main two words of my niche + profits brings me up on page 4 of Bing (still waiting on Google waking up...). However if I search with the same two words + profit I'm absolutely nowhere. Sadly using the keyword tool I've also found out 'my niche + profits' has about half the searches and traffic, and, a slightly higher QSR than 'profit'.
I realise there are other factors which will determine where I rank for different keywords... but that one little 's' is, well is one little s... lol
