How and what are Sitemaps - Comment and Like buttons?
Today we have 3 short subjects,(quick reads), that I feel will be helpful for many WA users.
Sitemaps
Google and other search engines reads these as a "map" to your pages and the structure of them in your website. They actually come looking for it!
It uses this to help it determine what pages to show in the search results - of course amongst many other complex things too, ( which you do not need to know and Google will not talk about either!).
If your site is ready for Google to start sending traffic to it - then it is time to make sure you have one. A plugin takes care of this in Wordpress.
This blog is not about creating a sitemap, just information on it.
