Learning and Inspired by fellow WA members

I have learned a lot from our fantastic community over the past 2 - 3 days. And I did so through reading many fellow WA members' blogs and also through Site Comments.

I just have this urge to pen down my experiences on what I have learned, which helps me to remember too.

Site Comments

I read a very comprehensive review on WA, which goes through the OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp. I have told myself for some time that I want to embark on Affiliate Bootcamp because I know there are some training in there that I believe isn't mention in OEC. So I think it will help to complement my training. Plus, I will be able to build a new MMO niche website to gradually have a new income stream.

I got a reminder about Google Trend, which I haven't been using ever since I selected my niche. I have a question if you can help me. Do we use Google Trend for keyword research too? I think it must have been mentioned somewhere, but that's the thing, there is so much to learn and internalize that I can't seem to remember everything. :(

And I have also learned that Site Comments is paying USD 0.25 per comment. I was somewhat surprised by this because isn't it USD 0.50? I've actually challenged that while providing my comment. After doing so, I had a think, he is actually quite right, and perhaps it is lesser than USD 0.25. Because I notice I can only earn USD 0.50 on every alternate comment. Sometimes, it is even worse, where I get to see the USD 0.50 only after 5 or 6 comments! But the community credit is always there.

I had 1 comment being disapproved because I provided feedback that suggests an alternative, hoping to help him work out a suitable reply. But he rejected by saying I didn't understand the post. Oh well, maybe I shouldn't.

I realize Santa Claus provides a live video chat with children this Christmas, and he is inviting us to help him to promote his service! Nice! But, I'm not sure if my niche website is suitable to promote this type of service. Whoever has come across this affiliate program, what is your view? Which type of niche should provide this service?

I saw a fellow WA member's website creates weekly quotes. This is great as it also gave me some ideas. I thank her for that.
I read about meta description for SEO. It serves as a good reminder for me to be creative with the choice of words and stick to 160 characters. It gave me an idea to fix 9 of my posts outright.
At this point, I am still catching up on my backlog of comments that I targeted to do so that I will be back in a normal state.

WA Members' Blogs

I always like Eugene's and Cassi's blog posts, among others too, of course. You guys really inspire me and help keep me going.

I once again came across Aweber, which I keep hitting myself on the head. When should I do it? Eugene talked about it with this post.

You Can Build Your Email List In A Jiffy With AWeber

And then he talks about content in another post. What he stresses is on writing product reviews as our audience craves for it. The only sad part of my current niche is that I can't seem to write any product reviews.

Be Your Own Master Chef with Just One Ingredient!

And I really like Cassi's blog What Can I Help With or Help In for 2021? I told myself that I want to be more courageous and decisive in 2021.

And I recall I read another blog or two about planning for 2021. That's another reminder.

Grateful to You

We all come from different backgrounds. Although we are all working towards our own success, the Wealthy Affiliate Community is always so supportive.

I am very far from reaching success, but you guys kept me going. In fact, I have been feeling down, particularly yesterday, when the person who encouraged me to do affiliate marketing told me to stop wasting my time. That really hurts. But I believe she said this just out of anger to spite me.

Trying my best to maintain a positive attitude, despite the "onslaught". So I'm grateful for all that I have read from you! It has kept me feeling that I am learning, growing, and inspired.

Thank you.

Wishing you all a happy day ahead.

Stay safe, wash hands, wear a mask, stay away from crowds.

Regards,

Hang in there, Richard! In my opinion, you are doing well!

Jeff

Thank you for the encouragement, as usual, Jeff!

You're very welcome, Richard!

Jeff

Thanks so much Richard for the humble mention of two of my posts. I really appreciate.

Hi Eugene, thank you for all your posts and tutorials. I learned a great deal from you.

You're welcome Richard anytime

Richard, you're definitely an asset to this community. Please don't let one member's comment put you down. Look within yourself. Do you feel you can be successful with the Affliate program ? If your genuine answer is yes, please go for it. There are tons of help available here and also from other members who are already successful doing so. I'm happy that you are already learning from other members' blog and that they make you happy

Hi Simone, good question. I have to say yes, but patience is one of the keys. :)

Richard, patience is always going to be a factor. It should be interesting to also look on what you could achieve in the long run

I believe you have a lot to offer this community Richard. I love reading your blogs and I am glad to see you are continually learning and getting inspired by some of our top gurus at WA. Continue to learn and enjoy the experience! All the best for success!

Thank you for the encouragement, Yvonne! Will do my best. :)

I know you will

Hi Richard, you have been very busy. Welcome aboard.
