How to Get Rid of "Ads by Easy Direction" in Chrome for Windows 10
As many of you may be aware, I had been having trouble trying to get rid of random ads on my website. I have Windows 10 (which I hate by the way). These ads only showed up when I was on Chrome.
I reached out to our WA family for help and got many good answers which I truly appreciated. I tried them all to no avail.
Finally one of our very astute mambers suggested I Google the problem. Duh! So here is what I found.
1) Go to the menu button at the top right side of the screen.
2) In the drop down menu, click on "More Tools"
3) Click on "Extensions"
4) Your "Extensions" page will appear
5) Find the unwanted extension ( in this case it was Ads by Easy Direction) and click remove
Viola! Problem solved.
Hope this helps anyone having the same issue.

Great to hear. I do not use chrome, I do not like it, but just in case I decide I appreciate the share. Thanks.
I'm not real thrilled with Chrome either but it is a heck of a lot faster than EI. But having to put up with all the ads is a pain.
Ah, the evil browser extensions. Sometimes they are helpful, others they are, well just a PITA. Glad to hear you got the issue resolved.
