Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday.

Question how do I create a blog roll I did at one time but have forgotten. Thanks so much for your help as always and have a great day

A blog roll is the default setting if you set up your blog to show recent posts. There are two options a static page which is a page you choose. To check which you are using go to dashboard/ settings/reading and then you will see two options static page and blog roll.

Should you choose blog roll you need at least 4 posts to see what it will look like when you have more articles

I made my homepage a static page and created a menu to my blog posts.

But it's automatically setup to show your latest posts on your homepage by default.

You can play around with different settings and see what works for you. The good thing about WordPress is the customizable features available to you.

How do I change admin to my name, so instead of my website saying Amin in the comment section when I respond I want my name to appear.

Or create a new user

Users tab, type your first name, and then you can choose it from the drop-down menu. Don't forget to save your changes.

Changing the name from admin to your name or any other name is really important. The reason for this is that admin is the default WP setting and consequently the first one hackers target.

Login as admin and go to your website dashboard. You will see users and all users. Go to users, and a menu will pop out that says Create new user. Give yourself full user administrator rights. Fill out the details and save at the bottom. Don't forget for now to save your username and password.

Logout of WP, login back in with your new user and password. Go to users/ all users and delete the admin user completely. Hope this helps
