New Spam update from Google

A few days ago, Google updated its Spam policy. I thought you might like to know about it, but in general, it made the rules about spam harder, which is really good if you trust them to do that right. I don´t!

But you can read it here.

But what is going on here in WA? I have never seen this before. Good trainers missed their material, and some were silenced for warning people about doing things right! For me, it is a big disappointment, and I hope that changes.

Appreciate the update Johann, let's see what happens with Google moving forward my friend! :-)

Google is dying as a search engine.

I have a piece of information on a post that I know is unique in the World. A reference no.

Google says it has indexed the page, but a search does not find the info.

What use is that?

Interesting. I wouldn't even know how to do most of the things they list, so I am probably safe on my end.

Thank you for sharing this latest update! Some of those things mentioned are things I thought became obsolete many years ago. It's surprising to see that people are still doing some of those underhanded tactics....they were done back when google was still a newbie themselves lol.

Hi Maria

I believe that there has been a big resurgence of black hat tactics in the aftermath of all the Google ranking chaos.

Parasitic SEO, in particular, seems to have made a big comeback.

Just my opinion, of course. 😎

That is very depressing to learn, geesh why can't people just learn to do things the right and proper way :(

Hi Maria

It seems that parasite SEO is currently helping some sites that have been hurt by the recent Google updates.

However, black hat tactics are typically just a temporary advantage until the search engines identify and decimate the ranking of those sites.

I am agree that back hat shouldn´t not been doing. And I have always been on that opinion.
I am not as sure as Frank that black hats are so much, but it is clearly a possibility.
At the same time, I no longer agree that all things are black hats that I have been talking about; again, I could be wrong.

And to stress it, I will not and do not use a black hat. But I understand people who are trying to live from all this Google attack. Because as they do it, as they talk, it is nothing but an attack.

Thanks for sharing, Jóhann! Leave it to Google. Never a dull moment as we do battle with the Empire.

Google is dead. Even so we need to see what they are doing.
Other than that, they are out. The focus must be all over other places.

If it’s not dead, it’s on a ventilator. 😎
