Spring Break RULES!

It is amazing to get a break from the grind of learning. The only real rule is to have some fun!

I am looking forward to spending time with the kids. With that, I welcome the full week of NOT being the human marathon bus-taxi for kids, no matter how cute. This week, in preparation for the task of delegating, I also created a Spring Break RULES blog with a new tool 6 Rights of Wealthy Affiliates Delegation. First, an update on my progress toward the next Wealthy Affiliate milestone...

I am almost to my 6 months of Wealthy Affiliates Premium membership badge!

This Dedication is my way of giving back to the Wealthy Affiliate community, just like I have with working over 20 years in the Health Care industry.

This month marks 6 fantastic months of online networking and learning internet marketing essentially from scratch, like most of the members I read through profiles. Just because you have not learned specifically for this purpose does not mean the experience you have is useless. On the contrary, adventures in any study can have transfer skills for your affiliate marketing.

Without further delays, I proudly present a little ditty soap box ah lah Nurse Becca.

We follow the rights of medication administration, as well as rights for delegation. I enhanced the national nursing standard of delegation guide for Wealthy Affiliates in the blog you are reading.

The next Wealthy Affiliate Tutorial by Nurse Becca will be Ultimate Guide to 10,000 Golden Nuggets.

But for Spring Break:

This is really fun for me to explain!

Learning the fine art and exquisite science of delegation can be an asset for your business strategy.

The list below is an ancient and applicable guide we nurses still use to this day to ensure patient safety. The following revised list is Nurse Becca's 2 cents which will help with making your millions. It is affectionately enhanced for Wealthy Affiliates after this summary.

5 Nursing Rights Of Delegation

#1) Right task!

The activity falls within the delegatee’s job description or is included as part of the established written policies and procedures of the nursing practice setting. The facility needs to ensure the policies and procedures describe the expectations and limits of the activity and provide any necessary competency training.

#2) Right circumstance!

* The health condition of the patient must be stable. If the patient’s condition changes, the delegatee must communicate this to the licensed nurse, and the licensed nurse must reassess the situation and the appropriateness of the delegation.

#3) Right person!

*The licensed nurse along with the employer and the delegatee are responsible for ensuring that the delegatee possesses the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform the activity.

#4) Right directions and communication!

* Each delegation situation should be specific to the patient, the licensed nurse, and the delegatee.
* The licensed nurse is expected to communicate specific instructions for the delegated activity to the delegatee; the delegatee, as part of two-way communication, should ask any clarifying questions. This communication includes any data that need to be collected, the method for collecting the data, the time frame for reporting the results to the licensed nurse, and additional information pertinent to the situation.
* The delegatee must understand the terms of the delegation and must agree to accept the delegated activity.
* The licensed nurse should ensure that the delegatee understands that she or he cannot make any decisions or modifications in carrying out the activity without first consulting the licensed nurse.

#5) Right supervision and evaluation!

* The licensed nurse are responsible for monitoring the delegated activity, following up with the delegatee at the completion of the activity, and evaluating patient outcomes. The delegatee are responsible for communicating patient information to the licensed nurse during the delegation situation. The licensed nurse should be ready and available to intervene as necessary.
* The licensed nurse should ensure appropriate documentation of the activity is completed.

WEALTHY AFFILIATES 6 RIGHTS FOR DELEGATION

This list of 6 rights for delegation can be expanded as much as the nursing community Who've written countless policies and adopt ever improving standards for delegation. This celebrates 6 months with creating the enhanced 6 rights.

You can delegate jobs to free your hands and time in order to work hard on your website, blog and/or business. Many will delegate content or website creation. You can develop delegation to cover advertisement, financial planning, or even just delegate dishes.

What plans can Wealthy Affiliates delegate for time for self care?

#1) Right Task; there are tasks which every Wealthy Affiliate would rather not delegate. Understanding your preferences of whether you enjoy the job or your expertise is required for the work at hand weighs in on options for good delegation. Do you want someone else to design your business website? Do you have a knack and get joy from filing your own taxes?

#2) Right Delegee; consider qualifications and verify this information with references and questions to determine this is the right person for the job.

#3) Right Time; and measure time you can also afford to be flexible with. It will be helpful to get all the preliminary understanding ahead of the actual delegation. What does the delegee need to get the job done? Will they need to know something ahead of time?

Try this out: Write in flex time and blocks of time for delegating tasks in your agenda.

#4) Right Education; ensure learning how to perform a task prior to delegating. Do you have the qualifications to delegate appropriately? You may require more training or updating to new changes in marketing, such as the new Google Shoppable Images or the end of G+.

Education is lifelong learning. It is important to stay updated in order to delegate responsibly.

#5) Right Communication and instructions; you cannot say: " heeeeeyyy do THIS " without explaining what this is. Communication is an essential element of the delegation process. Does the delegee know how to use the tools correctly?

#6) Right Follow-up for Evaluation; Did the job get done, with each step followed as necessary? You will not quite know without oversight. That includes prudence with follow-up.

Here is a synopsis of healthy Wealthy Affiliate delegation.

If the task to delegate is someone to run the bus route while you attend to your next big Wealthy Affiliate Campaign. First, can the individual do this responsibly? They may require driver's education, or you may need to know current laws of requiring an adult in passenger seat. Okay, now did they forget to pickup a kid on the route? Missed A Child because you missed a step... You failed to communicate all the stops on the route erk! Hit the breaks! Ok just kidding, but you get the idea.

I hope my idea helps you! With that, I hope to inspire members to invest the time now in order to enjoy more Spring Breaks to come, they RULE! Have some fun and we will be busy editing videos for Spring Break. Class is adjourned.

Happy Spring break, and please follow the no drunken driving rule.

Please like and share for me🙂🙏💝

Still no rules about drunken walking?

I think people are more likely to hurt themselves drunken walking, whereas drunk driving hurt others... maybe that was a Family Guy cartoon I watched though. Either way is way less than fantastic...

I love your wealth of wellness Becca!

That makes me smile! Thank you so much. I hope my notes found you well. I am still working on a campaign at the moment, sent hundreds of emails myself. I do not delegate everything, but nice to be able to assign a task, even if it is to a virtual assistant. Have a great night!
Kind Regards,
Nurse Becca

Wow, that's a lit of material !

Definitely delegating is the key and can save you a lot of time and money in the long run if you are not educated enough in the business you are in.
Some people I have met in the past get too greedy and think they can do it all by themselves , like trying to manage your own apartment building of say 25 suites.
It can be quite daunting, taking applications, handling disputes, maintenance, etc.
So, delegating is very important but hard to do sometimes , you have to find the right people to do your work or you could lose a lot of money, speaking from experience.

A very important post from someone who has a lot of knowledge of what they speak ! :-)

Thank you so much for this positive reinforcement!! My heart melted, I've worked hard and want to save some struggle for someone out there. I hope this help.
Best Regards,
Nurse Becca

You are doing fantastic like a kid in a candy store ha ha !

OMG...the hours and days, and months I worked to write up policy/procedures for delegation of duties to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP).Then the training of UAP, orient licensed nurses, include duties on new UAP job classification, contacting and retaining licensure for facility via State/Federal entities, all in time for when State decides to roll in for annual unannounced survey inspection, followed closely by Veterans Administration (VA facility)! Whew!! 😴 What an exhausting process. And of course when the surveys were over, you had to QA (QAPI) to death until any problems were discovered from said surveys. But, it had it's place and the hardest part was to convince nurses to give up control for jobs/duties that historically had been theirs for like forever!! You know how stubborn we are! If we start a job, we want to see it through to fruition. And, if a mistake happened, I didn't lose any money. I still retained my salary which I may say, making a mistake on your website or failing to add links, images, etc. could cost me in terms of passive income.
I personally don't know how likely I would delegate duties with the WA program. I know people hire outside to write blogs, or accountants to count all the beans they've earned, but I haven't reached that point of bean counting so I can't poo poo the idea.
As for spring break, you go girl!! I am praising Jesus for today as it is the last day of spring break here in Florida! Back to school tomorrow!!! Whoo hoo!!
Yay Us!! 🌟

Very nice! Yes, I was thinking more in terms of which kid I could get to do the dishes so I could work on my blog 😄 ...it is a very in depth process for delegation. The new caregiver was very kind. I am glad we finally found one with a personality which works well with people affected by severe schizophrenia. I can almost tell in 5 minutes whether the patients will run them off.
I love the prospect of a whole week without running around like a chicken with me head cut off. It is a challenging schedule to work with.( no I haven't really missed a kid, not the best analogy joke and I better knock on wood jklol!!)
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful reaponse.
Best Regards,
Nurse Becca

Amost excellent post. I think I might need to work on my 'professionalism' before engaging a delegee...like you said with the 'transfer' in the case of these rules or recommendations, they could be applied to individual jobs in themselves. Bookmarking with a view to referring to it when 'up against it'. Thank you Nurse Becca.

Awesome! I am pleased you bookmark my stuff. It makes me feel worth the effort I made in writing! That can be difficult with my schedule. I tried about 10 times yesterday to finish edit and post this one, and still ended up doing it at 0130 lol. Thank you for replying from my heart.
Kind Regards,
Nirse Becca

You are soooo very welcome.

Dont worry mam I dont drink, not here too. Happy spring break too Becca, always health and have some fun

Thank goodness. And I thank you for a very nice comment.
Sincerely,
Nurse Becca

Hi Becca
I don't know how much traction these rules will gain on here, so I wait and see before I comment any further.

Chuck

Nono the rules! was sorta a Beavis and Butthead response to not having the bus route. The 6 rights are more of a guideline to not have an idiot create your website. Or do the finances...or write less than fantastic content on your site.
I appreciate your time in commenting, thank you!
Kind Regards,
Nurse Becca

Hi Becca, I'm quite new here, so that's way too early for me to delegate anything at all. But hopefully I may need this in the future and then I'll look at your blog again.

Thanks!

Alex

Haha! Maybe you wont need to delegate anything. I hope you work on the parts that bring you joy, though. I am a newbie of sorts as well. You will learn a lot in 6 months here.

Sincerely,
Nurse Becca
