Website Builder Extraordinaire!
Hi WA Family,
Maybe not extraordinaire just yet, but I have now built my very first E-Commerce website for a company and been paid nicely for doing it - what a feeling!!
When I came to WA not long over a year ago, I had no experience and didn't imagine I would ever be building websites for companies and getting paid for it, but this is starting to take shape and I am going to pursue this further this year as well as my other activities.
I know we all say it, but it can't be said enough, the WA training and community support is second to none and I'm so glad to be a part of it.
If anyone else has had success in website building and can give me any tips would love to hear it?
Thank you and to your continued success!
Nigel

Hello Nigel, I have just read your blog post and I don't actually build websites but it is great to hear about your success story and how in such a short period you have learned so much.
It's always good to read a success story.
A very happy Easter to you.
Roy
Thank you Roy, it absolutely wasn't what I expected I could be doing when I started out here with no prior knowledge, but now I am I really enjoy it and again such a testament to the great training here at WA.
Hope you have a very happy Easter too!
Best wishes,
Nigel
It's amazing what you have achieved in eighteen months Nigel, this could be a great blog post for promoting Wealthy Affiliate! "From zero to website builder extraordinaire in just eighteen months"! Just a thought!
All the best to you Nigel.
Roy
Thank you Sam and Deb!
Yes, hopefully I can help others in the future who like me don't have any prior experience doing this but want to give it a try.
Best wishes, Nigel
Very cool! As a newcomer here I love hearing these stories man! E-Commerce sites are tough I have built a few myself. Respect! Thanks for sharing!
Chris
Thanks a lot Chris, yes trial by fire for me!
I did enjoy it and aim to do a lot more though.
Hope you are enjoying WA and give me a shout if you need anything.
Cheers, Nigel
Congratulations Nigel!
Building websites for others is a nice income
to have before our own sites rank, get traffic and
make income.
How did you get the client?
Which training did you use to build the ecom site?
Online entrepreneur certification or bootcamp?
How long it took for you to build the site?
Will be very valuable if you can give step-by-step
details on getting the client, pricing and building the
site.
OR
How about your own training on how to
make money by building sites for others?
Thanks Midhun, appreciated.
I came across the client who was someone I previously worked with and I started talking about what I was doing here at WA. They had just launched a business and were looking to set up an E-Commerce store.
I used WooCommerce and was helped a lot by the Teddy Bears training, plus other support at WA; Online Store With WooCommerce Pt.1 I am setting up a site dedicated to website building and will probably promote locally using social media and hopefully word of mouth as well over the next 12 months and see how it goes.
I will post some updates and if I can do some useful training will definitely do so.
Let me know if you ever need help and I'll do my best!
That is absolutely fabulous. Congratulations to you. I'm not yet ready to build sites for others but I'm sure I could if the opportunity arose.
WA really does teach us all that is required to succeed, no matter what direction we take.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen
Thanks Karen, must admit it was a bit nerve-wracking and wanted to make sure they liked and I built what they needed, but they were quite happy in the end and I'm giving ongoing support so it's all good so far.
I would say, if you get the opportunity, go for it, I'm sure you could do it and if I can give any help or support all you need to do is ask!

Great to hear your success in turning your WA experience into financial returns on your invested time! So many people seem to get hung up in the process without making true progress... thanks for the inspiring post!
