Kyle's insights into becoming an Expert in your Niche

Hello friends - Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Today I finally took some time to watch Kyle's recorded LIVE webinar from last year (wow, 2017 is last year already!) and I would like to share with you the key things I took away.

I found the presentation incredibly insightful and motivating! Kyle has been on the online world for 15 years, and I'm sure we could all trust his advice and insights seeing that he and Carson founded a successful Online University and other niche sites during all those years, providing so much help to all aspiring online marketers; plus the team in WA never stops updating their knowledge and expertise and going with the changing tides in the online marketing world!

As Kyle himself said in the webinar:

You don't need to follow conventional wisdom that says you need to put in 10 thousand hours or 10 years in order to become an Expert at something.

These Experts sometimes write books or share their techniques, experiences and lessons from their failures. And you could speed up the process of becoming an expert too, by learning from their mistakes and following techniques that led them to success. And by keeping yourself engaged with the ongoing trends in your niche.

So, the key things I took away:

- Be self-confident in your knowledge about your niche and emanate an "expert" aura already! You will grow more and more into the role as your website and engagement keep growing.

- Don't expect immediate results and quick financial success! People study in universities for 4+ years to obtain degrees that will lead them to a full-time job and high salary. And you want to make a sustainable income after working on a new skill for just 2-3 months? Get realistic!

- Don't be discouraged thinking that there are already millions of established websites in your niche. As one of my favorite travel bloggers, Nomadic Matt, says to aspiring bloggers: Take a look at your neighborhood, you'll see many restaurants that all provide food but each one has different flavors and special dishes! Should somebody passionate about food be discouraged to open a new restaurant because others exist already? No!

- Use a journal and keep track of your business ideas or anything new you could explore in your niche. Don't just assume you'll remember them again later! Millions of thoughts pass through our minds daily; inspiration is fleeting and we should record our ideas and plans in order not to lose them in the playground of our monkey-minds!

I'm sure there are many great things in store for us in 2018 in WA, looking forward to them!
