Should I share my progress at Wealthy Affiliate?
I personally love seeing everyone results and when someone earn commission, it’s proof that making money online is possible. I remember reading a while back that a lot of people don’t make money online and unfortunately there is many obstacles in your way to earning commissions.
Not all companies are created equal and some will leave you worst off than you were before. Some people find the right company but do not put in the work needed to succeed, and others do put in the work but they don’t do the right tasks needed for success.
The odds will not be in your favor and that’s why it’s important to me when someone find something that works for them, get results and share their progress. I want to know what works. I already have at least 3 people who YouTube channel and Wealthy Affiliate profile is a source of information for me. I visit often, I watch, I learn and implement what I learn.
I also love to see the progress of newbies, people might think successful Affiliates went from zero to $30,000 overnight but that’s not true. Everyone journey is different and the commission starts small and grows over time. That’s what real business is, small little commissions in the beginning that grows to bigger commissions as you continue to learn and evolve as a marketer and a person.
I want to share my journey so it can be a reminder to myself as well as others that a tree was once a small little seed that had a lot of obstacles in it’s way.

So true. We try, we fail, we share. We listen, we learn, we succeed, we share. Sharing helps others and in return we can learn from others experiences, good and bad. Thanks Nadishia.
Great post.
I enjoy reading the progress reports of people that take the time to tell the truth. (I have seen a claim recently that was total b.s.) They can be very inspiring if written by a person with integrity.
Members also need to realize that just because SOME people take the time to share progress reports, MOST people don't. Especially as they become more successful.
For example, I don't mind sharing my "challenges" because I want people to be realistic and to know there is a lot of hard work involved.
Yet, I come from a background were people in my career field do not share their earnings.
That would be a perfect way to say, "Hi, I have money. Come sue me. I probably have enough money in my bank account that both you and your lawyer can get paid."
My thoughts.... lol
PS: I don't have any money right now - so anyone that attempts to sue me will be wasting their time.
Nadishia, I enjoyed reading your article. Very well thought out and I agree with you. It's great to learn about other people's success. So we should post our journey to help others.

We all should share our milestones because that is an encouragement to others here at WA. And it also shows that people can succeed in this business too.
Every little milestone leads to the big milestone and that is our big goal to get to and that is to become successful online.

I struggle with knowing what to share and what not to share. Overall I want to motivate and I want my personal journey recorded so I and others know that anything is possible.
Absolutely but I have come to find out something when there is a burden on your heart to write a post about a subject then write it. Because you just don't know who it can help.
There is always someone out here in the community that is struggling with something and when you have a post on your mind and your heart write it
I have written about different things about myself and it has helped many different members with their struggles. When you get a chance take a look at some of my post to give you some ideas because it is a great feeling to be able to help another person out.

I agree 100%! I know I have a lot of work left ahead of me, and I also learn a lot from others that share .
I love when I read something that is genuine and truly helpful.
Thanks for this,
Matt
Me too, if it wasn’t for the members who share I might not know what is possible. It gives me the motivation I need.
Hi Tamara,
I, like you enjoy seeing the progress and success of others here at WA. It is a source of encouragement and confirmation that success is possible.
I also like your idea the blogs you post will be a perfect record of your progress over the coming week/months/years. Something very interesting to look back on.
I look forward to reading your posts.
Have a fantastic day and good luck.
