Morning Walk. YES I CAN
So Saturday 4/9/16 I went to visit my daughter who lives 3 hours away. We made a reservation at this place call "Painting with a Twist" It is really a great place to go. I've never painted anything in my life before, so I thought it will be fun. I actually painted this picture myself,,,me?? really??,, first time ever painting,, I was very happy, I had so much fun and I just felt accomplished. My picture came out so pretty and I love it.
So for those who think they can't do anything because they think they don't know. There is a proof from me. We all have a gift, it is up to Us to open our minds and say to Ourself. YES I CAN.
This picture is call "MORNING WALK"
Painted by Maria Cruz (Me)

Amazing! I would BUY that painting if I could! It's incredible.
I know what you mean: at art class there were always people saying "I'm not good at art" or "wow, I could NEVER paint like that!"
Well, I couldn't either, until I took some YouTube tutorials and taught myself some techniques.
That is my next to do,, YouTube classes on painting,, I think this will be my get away hobby to clear my mind from everything else.. I Love it..
I know right?? but it was me,,I felt so good about it. My mother paints,,,she is awesome,,just by looking at something and there she makes a beautiful paint.
Wow! That is some painting, Maria. I've often thought I'd like to paint a picture, but have also thought why bother..it wouldn't be any good and would probably look like something a three year old would paint. You have dedication to your goals. I have no doubt you will succeed fantastically at WA.
Well Tom, I'm going to be honest. I also thought my paint was going to be a mess but this was a step by step class I mean baby steps,,It was just wonderful seeing my daughters face and of course my face after finishing the painting. We were both wow,,,,
You never know what you are capable of doing until you really try and of course never give up.
