I often see sites dominate the entire first page of Google, and I always wonder what the must-do tips are?
Writing articles that are unique, engaging and shareworthy - from solid keyword research (use the WA Keyword tool) and then getting word out after publishing these articles on your blog (social media marketing.) If you do this correctly, you will soon dominate the search engine results in your niche.
As to Bob's comment, I totally agree.... Google owns YouTube and it's now the second largest search engine on the planet. Video marketing works. So, if you can create a video, upload it via your YouTube channel, embed that video on the associated blog article on your blog and promote both the article AND the YouTube video link separately, they help each other synergistically.

can I change my username cos people always think my name's bob?
adding a video to youtube with the same keywords as your blog post helps a great deal to rank higher.
embedding the same video from youtube on your site also helps.
good keywords (low competition) and a video and a good blog post will help you.
Are you saying we have to create a video to add? or can we find videos on youtube and embed them in our pages. Will that help?
to be honest, not sure on that one Liz, so i don't answer. I just say "maybe!" but go ahead and check that out.
