Whenever I share my new recipes posts in FB. I simply copy and paste the link into the message box. From there a bar moves back and fourth across the screen producing the new post plus image. If the image doesn't appear the first time I remove the link and repeat the process again (It usually generates after the second attempt).
I hope that helps.
Ive tried that but it works for some posts and with others it doesnt. It doesnt show the post URL either only the main URL

When I see my Google Analytics I see that I'm getting some visits from other websites that have nothing to do with my niche. Does it mean that my site is getting linked from tho
You will find backlinks in Google Webmasters (GWT), not in Google Analytics (GA).
In GA, you can see where the traffic is from.
In GWT, from the left menu, click on traffic, and then 'links to site' - or something like that. It will show a list of your backlinks.
It is better to focus on having quality authority links than to worry about getting rid of unrelated niche links.
Google recognizes that you cannot control other sites linking to you, so that is not a big factor in ranking. Rather it gives you a better ranking when you do have quality authority site backlinks.
If you find spammy backlinks that you absolutely do not want associated with your site, you can ask the websmaster of that site to remove the link, or you can use the Google Disavow tool as a last resort.

I mean, when I look up in Google Analytics it says that some traffic is coming from external websites. I checked in Google Webmaster Tools and there are no backlinks to those pages showing on Analytics.
For example Analytics says that yesterday I got a visit from greenvalleyspices dot com. And im getting other sources from external websites too. So what does that mean? Theyre not showing on WMT only in GA as traffic sources
A visitor (traffic) to your site does not mean that visitor is linking to you. You asked if your site is getting linked with other sites. Here is how to check that:
1. In WMT home page, click on your website domain to go to the dashboard.
2. From the left menu, select > Search Items > Links To Your Site
That's where you will see what sites are linking to your website,
In GA, you see traffic statistics, the number of visitors, when they visited, where they came from and more.
In WMT, you see what is indexed in search, internal links, crawl stats, search query and crawl stats and links to your site (backlinks). .
Have you linked your WMT and GA accounts? You probably have done this, but just in case, here's how:
In WMT home, look to the right next to your domain name. You should see the "Manage Account" tab. From the drop down, select Google Analytics Property".
If your website is not associated with the Google Analytic Property, then tick the little radial button to enable data sharing between your GA and WMT accounts, and be sure to save it. ~Jude
I know how to check in WMT thanks. The question is what does a visit (showing on GA) from other website means?. Im getting direct visits from other sites, for example GA says I got a visit from greenvalleyspices dot com. So how did someone visit my website directly from valleyspices dot com if they dont have a link to my website. Thats my concern
Check the links in the names of anyone who has commented on your site to see if any have provided that website address. ~Jude

- What difference would you say a blog vs a digital magazine has?
- Would you say that the "natural evolution" of a blog should be an online Magazine?, yes or no?, why
An online magazine uses several writers as a blog is only one person or you can invite a guest writer to your blog.
I see an on-line magazine as having more content available all at once, and sending me maybe only monthly email. I would also expect an on-line magazine to have more images, and more advertising than a blog. Great questions.

I somehow found this superlinks dot com website and it seems to give some pretty nice features in terms of banner positioning, but I was wondering if anyone tried it and do you
Super links is probably a bot base link system and will damage your rankings with google if they send bot links to your site.
You can simply add a banner by placing the banner text into a widget! Simply drag the widget to your sidebar, footer or header.. let me know if you need additional help
Banners as a general rule are not very effective anymore.
People have developed banner blindness and don't even see them even when they are in their face.
That all depends Labman, most especially on the niche.
As Kyle says, you have an audience of 2 billion.
As your niche experiences increasing traffic, I believe it to be a different ball game, especially in regards to adsense!
