Hi everyone,
It is possible that I have to cancel my membership here for a bit so I just want to know what will happen to everything I have and what I'll have access to
Hi Melissa, I really hope this does not have to happen. I can totally relate though. I was able to make it through another month, and I sure hope you will be able to. You are an important part of WA.

This is an answer that Kyle gave another member with the same concerns.
"Unfortunately, you cannot downgrade to Starter, however you will be able to resubscribe to your Premium account at any time and reconnect your membership (when you can make it back). ;)
We also host your website for 30 days beyond the cut off date, which gives you time to still work on it or move it to another host in the meantime."
I hope this helps. And I sure do hate to see you have to stop.

sorry to hear you may be having some difficulties, but I sincerely would be sad to see you go..
If you decide to leave, like the others have said before me, you will lose everything. Your domains are your but you would have to transfer them out of wealthy affiliate to some other hosting platform.
Make a educated decision,

Since I've added a contact form to my sites I'm getting ridiculous spam messages such as "we've hacked your site, pay us and we won't

After trying unsuccessfully using Honeypot plugin, I removed the contact form (deleting an unnecessary plugin!) and then did this: Get Rid of Spam from Website Hope you find this helpful.
If you can't use Askimet for whatever reason you might consider switching autoresponders. I use AWeber. It is a monthly charge that you may not be ready for yet. But I get very little to no spam on all three of my sites.

Also, do you have the "anyone can register" box unchecked under settings then general? Just a thought.
It's not for an autoresponder. I don't have one yet because as you said, it's a monthly charge that I'm not ready for yet.
It's the contact me page that I'm talking about.
I do believe that I have that unchecked but I'll check.

Install a plugin called Akismet and it will block virtually all spam messages

I didn't think that plugin would work with contact forms since the message gets sent to my email and not onto the site like comments do.
I thought akismet was only for help with comments.
There's a plugin called Akismet Anti Spam which is made for this purpose.
It's free, you just have to install it and set it up in order for it to work properly.
It will block out 99% of spam without you having to go through each comment and see which one is spam and which one isn't.
Thanks! I've heard of and seen the plugin but I didn't think it would work through the contact form since that's a message that gets sent directly to my email.
