I am quite new to WA and learning a lot.
I have a Test and Tag Business in New Zealand that I created with a Site Builder about 2 years ago. Their help support and hosting
Hi Jeff.
Site builder and WordPress are two different platforms so I found out. They do not transfer from one to the other. It appears I need to transfer my domain name and create a new website with WordPress or convert to WordPress at my existing host provider and then transfer to WA but this is the same process.

I have contacted my existing hosting provider and also contacted the WA support team and found out that:
Site builder and WordPress are two different platforms they do not transfer from one to the other.
It appears that I need to create a new website with WordPress either with my existing host provider and then transfer to WA or transfer my domain name first to WA then create a new website with WordPress.
My Outcome is that I will be downloading my content then Transfering to WA and starting again with a provider that has LOTS of help and support... WA...

Can I transfer a private business website to wa hosting?

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.
To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. How to Transfer a Domain Name to Wealthy Affiliate How To Point Your Domain Name To WA NEW Go Daddy DNS details to make it work: To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.
Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.
If your site HAS content you need get in touch with site support for further instructions.
They will typically ask you for FTP info and your domain name, they'll set up a siterubix subdomain and upload files then you can check everything is okay before you point your domain to WA servers.
