User Experience Upgrade
I figured I would make a short post for your reading pleasure.
With google on the search for quality content I decided to revisit my post that have yet to be indexed to attempt to improve the User Experience focusing on Mobile view.
I originally wrote this post and included images relevant to the top throughout the post. While researching competitor sites I noted some of their post had no images at all. They incorporated the use of relevant videos. So I switched gears and removed all of my images and began the search for videos that could relate to my post introducing a company I supporting. Below are images of the videos I used to replace my images.
After removing my images and adding video in their place, I noted the mobile and tablet view improved in the preview. The page speed for that post also improved. It was not a slight improvement, it was huge. Before my mobile speed was in the mid 60's and improved to the high 90's.
Anyway, with that slight improvement I clicked update and went to the next post on a different site and tried to improve it as well. I upgraded the second post and went to lunch. Time elapsed was approximately 2 hours before i returned to look for another post to upgrade. In the time I was away, both post were indexed. I am not sure what exactly Google is looking for now, but the slight improvements seemed to work. I will revisit more post and get back to you if this continues to work for me.
