On Track With SiteContent!
I beat the clock this week on my SiteContent goals, and there is no doubt I'd have found an excuse to leave off some of those articles till Monday, or just continue to build up half finished research articles, but once the publishing goals are set in the dashboard we are sort of driven to meet that target - WOOHOO!
Of course, as soon as you press publish a menu appears with a button on it that says 'create more content' and oddly enough it's a brilliant time to do that! :)
And as soon as you meet your goals a button appears 'set new goals', which means you've got to savor the moment while you can because once you hit that, suddenly you are looking at this empty hungry circle again with a new deadline!
This is my first month using SiteContent, it is very enjoyable when it comes to publishing and how we can go straight to our site to edit without logging in. I also liked the ease of inserting links, it is now a one step process to open in a new window.
Now, is it time for a movie? :D

maybe about the same, I like that you can do a check at the end at the click of a button and it allows you more choice than word - my word will correct stuff even when I tell it not to, I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of glitches in word that make things unbearable sometimes. Whereas I miss some of the features of word, like beginning a sentence with a capital automatically and stuff like that, again there is more control with site content. I'm finding it has about the same amount of words not recognized as word, such as herbalist/herbalism will always through word with me too. I don't have too many mistakes though, so I tend to notice how much freedom/control I have to write what I want between both, and sitecontent wins there.
I should add that an advantage with sitecontent was it told me straight up which word was wrong in the whole article, it literally picked it out and displayed it, I liked that, then it offered the chance to change it.

Thanks Tammi, it's never too late, you can custom set your goals in SiteContent to start when you like, so you can still set a new personal best for this month starting now or Monday :)

Good job Mary you will be pleased with that, dragging the chain with site content so thanks for posting just what I needed, it is going to be such a handy tool and I really like the in house aspect of it. Unless I'm missing something, I found SiteContent to be a bit cumbersome...mainly because you have to publish before you add your graphics, etc. Is there a way to get it into WP as a draft? It does help with goals and accountability...as you've demonstrated. Good job.

they say the images aspect is coming soon
at the moment when you publish, a menu comes up that can take you directly to the post on your site to edit it - so you can immediately slot in your images or you can immediately change the status of the post/page from published back to draft - so we are talking a split second there to get it into draft
